DESTINY POV:
The docks were a busy place. Bustling with life. But even though Destiny was surrounded by a plethora of other boats, encompassed by a multitude of people, they had never felt more alone. It wasn't easy for a non-binary bisexual boat to make friends. To fall in love. They had dreamed about it at night. Floating under the stars on the deep blue ocean, wishing that there could be another boat next to them. A boat to whisper "I love you Destiny. You and your beautiful paint job, your perfect rigging. I love everything about you." But alas, they knew that it would never happen for them. They'd never find a boat to fall for.
EROS POV:
Far away, at a different harbour entirely, a sleek, shiny black boat floated on the crystalline blue water. "Hey Eros, come with us! We're going to see how far we can sail until our owners notice and freak out." "Maybe another day Misty," Eros replied in a tone that could only be described as angsty. "Okayy, but you're missing out!" The multicoloured boats began to sail away, further and further out to sea. Eros didn't even laugh a little bit seeing the boat's respective possessors panic. Didn't even crack a smile when Mr Forkle fell into the sea, swimming after his boat, Precious Ruby. He felt dissatisfied with life. There had to be more out there. There just had to be.
ARTEMIS POV:
"It's just you and me Artemis," said Lila, a pretty woman of 23. She had owned Artemis for a year, and already she couldn't imagine life without her. Lila gave Artemis purpose. This was what she was made to do. They sailed further and further out to sea. But it wasn't long before the sky darkened and the waves became choppy. The wind howled, ripping through Artemis' silvery sails. Lila raced below deck but came up soon after a loud *BANG*. Tears streamed down her face. Artemis felt pain and she could tell that there was a hole below deck. "Artemis, I don't think we're gonna make it," she whispered. And with one big wave, Lila was swallowed by the dark stormy ocean water. Artemis tumbled and turned, in agonising pain. But all she could whisper was "Lila".
