ARTEMIS POV:
Those next few days without Lila were some of the hardest days of Artemis's life. Without Lila, everything felt so hopeless. The fact that she had been rescued and Lila hadn't felt os unfair to Artemis. She was just a stupid boat. Lila had been a kind, loving, caring, beautiful human with more purpose than sailing around stupidly. "We don't have the part he needs," said the man fixing her in a gruff tone. "My pronouns are she/her you moron," Artemis grumbled, but of course, he didn't hear her. No one respected preferred pronouns around there, especially the preferred pronouns of boats. "We're going to need her to go down to the harbour near Old Charlie's place, they've got the part we need." "You hear that old girl? You're going on a trip."
EROS POV:
Eros was bored. Every day was the same. Wake up, get cleaned, get sailed/stay docked, listen to the boats play silly games to pass the time, go to sleep. "Hey, Eros," Misty whispered, snapping him out of his funk. "What is it Misty," he said in a bored tone. "Did you hear about Dante?" "What about xem?" "Well, haven't you noticed that xe's gone yet?" He looked around, and sure enough, xe was gone. "Where is xe?" "Everyone's saying xe RAN AWAY." "We can DO that?" Eros asked in a shocked tone. A boat running away was practically unheard of. You only left the docks with your human. "Apparently so. It's caused a dreadful scandal," Misty said with a grin before floating over to Precious Ruby, no doubt to spill the gossip. Thoughts began whirring through his centre console. Maybe he wasn't as trapped as he thought.
DESTINY POV:
"Morning Destiny!" "Morning Devlin! Today's going to be a good day, I can feel it." The stormy sky from last night had cleared up, and the sun shined through the fluffy white clouds. The cornflower blue waves lapped gently at Destiny's gleaming purple hull (they had been freshly polished, cleaned and given a new coat of paint). They floated over to join Sunset and her friends, who floated away quickly, giggling. "What a weirdo," they heard them whisper. "Loser." Destiny sighed. So much for a good mood. "I won't let them ruin my perfect day!" they declared boldly. They then heard a loud SPLAT and looked down to see their clean new paint job covered in seagull poop and seaweed. Sunset and her friends were laughing at them from a distance and they sighed, trying their best to let the water clean it. "Do you need help?" a soft, pretty voice asked, and Destiny turned to see the most beautiful boat they'd ever seen. "I-uh, thank you," they stammered.
