WRONG NUMBER!!...

01. Break up

"Take care baby and call us once you reach home", Mom said enveloping her son in bone crashing hug, she will surely miss him.
After spending a month of winter vacation with his family, Bright was going back to Bangkok as he study there and his University is going to  start in 2 days. His parents live in Chiang Mai, they owns a company here. His parents don't usually get the time to visit their son in Bangkok because of their hectic schedule so, Bright always visit them during vacations and spend time with parents and elder sister.

"I will mom, you too take care", he replied hugging her back. Mom nodded releasing him from hug.
His dad spread his arms indicating he also need hug from his son, which Bright gladly accepted.
"Let us know if you need anything there", his father said releasing him from hug and patting his shoulder. Bright nodded at his father, asking him to take care of himself with a smile on his face. His elder sister Bella, smack him on the back of his head. He winced at that and his parents and sister laugh at this earning a pout for him but before he could pay back her, she hugged him. He sighs in defeat and hugged back her small figure. "I will miss you monkey", she whispers. He closed his eyes feeling the warmth of his favourite person, they do fight a lot but they are each other's everything. Like Tom and Jerry they can't live without each other.  "I will miss you too piggy, take care of yourself and mom-dad too" , he whispers back to which she nodded and release him from hug. Their parents watch them with a smile on their faces. Bright bid his goodbye and went to check in for his flight.

Bright loves his family so much, few days ago he come out to his family, he was scared, he told his sister first. He can talk with his sister about anything, he was scared of her reaction as well but when she hugged him and smiles at him warmly, he was relieved. Bella also   encouraged him to tell his parents. He was anxious, all kind of what if's where running through his mind. He was afraid to disappoint his parents and them disowing him was the biggest fear of all.

Flashback:

Four of them where present in the dining room. The environment was not peaceful like it was always used to be, mostly because of Bright's anxious mind. They were making small talks but Bright was in his own dilemma of to tell his parents or to not and if to tell them how should he do that.

"Bright..?" His father's voice snap him out of his thoughts, he confusely looked at his father.
"Huh..?, Sorry dad I didn't hear you", he said.
"Do you have anything to tell us" Mr. Chivaaree asked him in gentle voice, they were concern for their son because they never saw him so lost in thoughts. Bright was fidgeting with his fingers. He nodded at his father and looked at his sister, she gave him encouraging nod with a small smile. He looked at his mom and then dad they both were waiting for him to say what he wanted to say. He took a deep breathe, "I-I'm gay", he stuttered while telling them. He looked into his father's eyes but they were blank, he couldn't read them. He quickly closed his  eyes waiting for slap or anything from his father.

He never wanted to disappoint his parents and he never did. Bright was always a smart and responsible boy every parents would wish for, he was always good in his academic years and that's why he got the addmission in best college of Thailand for his further education and he always made his parents feel proud of himself. He thought because of his sexuality he disappointed them and now they will disown him.

After, one or two minutes which felt like eternity to Bright. Mr. Chivaaree spoke "Bright... Open your eyes and look at me", he obliged. He was anxious and scared, it was evident in his eyes but smile and the soft look on his dad's face confused Bright.
"What are you thinking that we will disown you or shout at you or beat you because of your sexuality?" Mr. Chivaaree asked, sure thing they were shock when their son suddenly come out to them but they love their kids more than anything and for them kids happiness matters the most. After all they are parents all the hardwork they are doing today is for their kids, if they are not happy then what's the point of doing this much work and about the society they could care less.
"You are not?", Bright was still confuse with what is happening, Mr. Chivaaree chuckled at this,
"of course!, do you think that low of us", hearing this Bright quickly got up and hugged his dad tight, tears were running down his puffy cheeks. His dad patted his back to clam him down. Once he was clam he thank his dad and also hugged his mom, she kissed his cheeks and told him that both mom and dad loves him and his sister.
Rest of the dinner was filled with  teasing from brother and sister with their mom-dad laughing at them.
