Hermione's POV
It was the first potions lesson in year 6 and the first one with Professor Slughorn. When I entered the potions classroom I caught a whiff of marshmallows, smoke and a aftershave. I was really confused because I recognised the smell.
"Hello class, I'm Horace Slughorn." Professor Slughorn said, in a cheerful voice. "Today we are working with this potion." He said, pointing to a caldron, "Does anyone know what this is called?" I put my hand up. "Yes Ms..."
"Granger, sir. The potion is Amortentia. Amortentia is the most powerful love potion in the world. It is distinctive for its mother-of-pearl sheen, and steam rises from the potion in spirals. Amortentia smells different to each person, according to what attracts them. I smell marshmallows, smoke and... I don't really want to say."
"That is perfectly fine, you don't want us knowing who you smell, do you?" "No sir."
I started thinking about who smelt like that. The aftershave I recognise, it's Fred's. I smell Fred Weasley in amortentia.
3rd person POV
Hermione wasn't the only one to know who knew who it was! Ron and Harry both had an idea and while Harry was happy with it, Ron wasn't so happy.
