Sei stood perched on top of the academy's dome above the crowd that watched Zhil's execution in delight. The rain had drenched his hair, its droplets tapped lightly against the glass dome. Black blood trickled down his back and arms, only to be washed away by the light rain. His silhouette barely cast a shadow into the hall. No one noticed his arrival.

Sei kneeled and pressed an outstretched hand against the smooth glass. A low thrum began to reverberate as Sei pushed kinetic magic into it. His powers had been temporarily weakened due to the high cost of magic forced into breaking the null bindings. He needed a mere moment's rest, and it would be enough to enact a curse on all of Gytuana Academy since they dared to hurt what was his.

The air around Sei became unstable, causing raindrops to split or rupture by the untamed force of his kinetic magic. A red cloudy mist began to envelop the Lich King, just like in Ceginia. The mist hungered to find its victims and pressed against the glass.

The immense pressure and Sei's kinetic magic shattered the dome with ease. Shards of glass cascaded down alongside the rain. Amongst it, shrouded in mist, a maddened Lich King descended. When Sei landed, a puff of red mist dispersed and glass littered the area around him. Sei landed between the man who dared to harm his light.

Tillian, Sei knew all about the Archmage. Soiled and completely rotten on the inside. A man with little character or morality sat proudly on the Mage Council. A man who didn't deserve his seat as he caused the deaths of countless children all for the sake of his ideals. Ideals that made no sense in the rapidly changing world. Sei wanted to kill him.

A kinetic wave spewed out from where he landed, scattering the glass and rain away from him and Zhil. Then the red mist poured in from the opened hole of the dome and surrounded them, barring all onlookers.

Sei stood proud even if he looked haggard, drenched from head to toe. Sei looked like a beggar that had crawled out of the sewers. His black blood stained the back of his shirt, one sleeve in tatters to make his face veil, and his pants didn't fare any better having too been soiled by blood and dirt. Of all the things, the hunters had also taken his boots, leaving him barefooted. His feet crunched on top of the glass without care for how its sharp edges cut them.

"You will not touch him again," Sei bellowed, eyes completely dark. His crown glowed bright red above him, his lich side had taken him.

Sei raised a steady hand, empowering it with kinetic force, and attempted to pry the whip from Tillian's grasp.

Tillian held firmly, not wanting to forgo the only weapon in the vicinity. Sei didn't relent in his attempt. Tillian dared not to concede, and as he was dragged forward, he unleashed a barrage of blue fire. Each flame ball struck true against the Bleeding King, melting away parts of his clothing before burning his skin.

Under his veil, Sei's smile reached to his ears. Rarely would he get someone to fight back. Even if it was futile, Sei couldn't help but feel like he won a prize.

A hearty laugh escaped Sei's lips beneath his veil as he ripped the whip from Tillian's hand with so much force he broke the man's wrist. The Archmage grunted in pain and cradled his wrist tenderly, finally realizing he was no match for the Bleeding King. His eyes widened experiencing the true terror of a lich.

It was all the hesitation Sei needed, his smirk disappeared when he saw the piss run down the Archmage's pants. He leaped forward and gripped the Archmage's throat, squeezing his fingers against Tillian's flesh. Deep down Sei wanted to curse Tillian, his entire lich side craved it. But he paused at the last moment, knowing that kind of death would be wasted on a man like Tillian. His curse would be a blessing to a vile man such as him, and he didn't want to bestow that gift on Tillian.
