“Where do you wanna go first?”
Taehyung, surprisingly enough, was the first one to get ready of the three.

“First off, we go to Santa Monica, of course.” Jimin replied, stuffing his sun cream in his bag. Being a boxer didn’t mean he didn’t love his skin.

Namjoon huffed, tying his shoelaces. “Min, we agreed on the natural history museum, come on, now.”
Jimin chuckled, Taehyung joining him.

Namjoon looked at Taehyung, who shrugged, smiling. “Don’t look at me! I’m fine with both.”
“Min, please.”
The boy emphasized, pleading, almost.

“Alright, then! Just because I love Joon hyung, we’ll go to the museum first.”
Namjoon balled his fists, visibly excited.
“YES!”
The other two boys chuckled, shaking their heads.

The day went by in a blur. Camera shutters, smiles, ice cream and wine. All merged into one. They’d went to the museum, then Santa Monica, and then, as Taehyung had suggested, Universal Studios. They couldn’t check off the last one off their list; Griffith Observatory, but they’d decided they’ll come back for it later some time.

It was hard deciding for the night, but since they were flying home the next day, they decided it was best not to get stoned again, agreeing on a little Netflix party in Jimin’s bed.

Jimin had always liked sharing beds. The boy would cry to a point that he’d wake others up if he ever had to sleep alone, so whenever he’d be the only one in bed, there was always more crying than sleeping. He didn’t cry now, but he sure got salty whenever he had to sleep alone, or as his friends would put it, ‘cause eclipses.’

Jimin was picking a movie from the catalogue when the other two came in, dressed in their sweat suits for the night. He smiled, looking further as the other two made their way on the bed. None of them had said anything yet, and that bothered Jimin. Why wouldn’t they talk?

Namjoon looked at Taehyung, who bit his lip.
“Jimi? Have you opened social media lately?”
Namjoon asked, making Jimin look at him.
“…no? why?”
“There was…a bad lunar eclipse last night, you know?” The other boy said hesitantly.

Jimin frowned at that, and then sighed, knowing where that would go.
“Guys, it’s not what you think, I’ve said that hundreds of times, it isn’t-“
“But Jimin, listen, were you sad last night? Were you up after we went to sleep?” Taehyung asked, genuinely concerned.

Jimin scoffed, almost offended.
“Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous! I was the happiest I’ve been in my life, last night, stop it, you two.”
Namjoon and Taehyung looked at each other again, sighing.
“Jimin, what we’re trying to say is…maybe two extremes of your emotions can cause-”
“No, hyung. I’m getting interrogated by my best friends because they think I can control nature’s cycles. Are you fucking kidding me?”

Namjoon sighed, licking his lips.
“You’re right, Jimin. We’re sorry.” Taehyung said, voice low. Namjoon just looked at his hands.

Jimin was… well, hurt. If he did have some control over it, why would he not tell them? They didn’t trust him even that much?
“I’m not in the mood anymore.” He said coldly, getting off the bed.
“I’m going to take a shower and sleep. If you guys wanna watch something, you can do it.”

With that, he stormed off into the bathroom, slamming the door shut.
Namjoon and Taehyung just looked at each other, sighing. At least they knew what to do to make him feel better. But how could they counter what they thought when there was literal evidence for it? Jimin was mad, they could see. And the rouging moon outside their window spoke volumes to them.
