I woke up at around 11 o'clock. Which means I got some pretty decent sleep so I'm glad. I couldnt find Kuroo when I woke up though, so I went downstairs to find him.

"Oh, the pretty kitty is finally awake!" Kuroo says from the couch after seeing me.

"Shut up, you look like you slept with your head in someone's ass crack."

"You wound me, Kyanma."

I roll my eyes and head to the kitchen. I hate mornings. After grabbing a bowl of cereal, I head back into the living room to sit with Kuroo.

"Aye," I yell, "could you stop flirting with my mom for one second?"

"I'm not flirting with her, I'm just talking," he replies, "she was wondering what we did last night."

"Good morning Kenma dear, I'd love to stay and talk more, but I have to leave for work soon," mom says before walking over and planting a kiss on the top of my head.

"Bye mom, have a good day," I respond, sitting next to Kuroo.

I ate in silence for a while, somewhat leaning on Kuroo. I'm still really tired, I just dont want to go back to bed because it's so late in the day.

"Hey Kuroo?" I get his attention while setting my bowl on the coffee table. He hums in response, letting me know he's listening. I took a breath and lean back onto him.

"Do you really think I should tell Bokuto how I feel?"

Kuroo pats my head and then puts his arm over my shoulder.

"Kenma, I care about you a lot, so I'm only ever gonna tell you to do what's best for you. So believe me when I say that I think it would be better for you to do this."

"Bur what if he doesnt like me back, what if he thinks I'm weird, what if he never wants to talk to me again, what if he ends up hating me, what if-"

"Kenma!" He snaps me out of my rambling yet again, "even if he doesnt like you back, which if I'm being honest I dont think is the case, he could never hate you. Bokuto could never hate anybody." Kuroo rubs my arm, trying to calm me down.

"Thank you," I say quietly.

"Anything for my Kyanma," Kuroo smiles down at me, but it was a gentle smile.

The next day we headed off to school. It's probably going to be a slow day. When I walk into my first class of the day, I sat in my regular spot by the window. I sit in an area with quite a few girls because it's less troublesome.

"Hey Kenma!" A girl says from behind me.

I don't want to be too rude, but I'm not really in the mood to talk very much. So, I turn around and offer her a small smile.

"So, I heard you guys have a match against Fukurodani in a week or so!" She says, bubbly as ever. I face her while she's talking because I dont want her to feel like she's talking to the back of my head.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the plan," I respond calmly.

"Are you excited about that?" She asks with a big smile.

"Well, in some ways yes. Some ways no. So kind of?" I respond.

"Why no in some ways?"

"Oh... um... I dont really know you that well but whatever. I have feelings for someone on their team and It's really hard for me to focus around them." Maybe I shouldn't have told her. It's not that big of a deal though.

"Is it a guy or is it one of the managers?" She asks, "only if you're comfortable telling me! I dont want to push!"

I chuckle a little at her sudden panic.

"It's a guy," I respond quietly, with a slight smile.

"Oh cool! Good for you I guess," she laughs.

Our conversation ended there because the teacher came in and we had to start class. After a bunch of classes, it was finally time for lunch. I head out to a tree that Kuroo and I usually sit at during lunch. I'm surprised that he isnt there yet though.

I sit down by myself and start eating a little bit. I dont really like eating, it takes a toll on my energy and uses a lot of mental reassurance, but I eat because I know that I need to and because Kuroo always tells me to. Suddenly, Kuroo runs over to me.

"Kyannnmmaaa!!" He yells.

"Not so loud Kuroo," I respond, wincing at how loud he was.

"Oh! Sorry sorry, I'm just really excited!" He says, lowering his volume.

"Well what's got you so excited?"

"Bokuto and Akaashi invited us to hang out at the park on Wednesday!"

"Oh," I reply, "that is pretty exciting. We havent hung out with them in a couple weeks."

"I know!" Kuroo sits next to me and takes out his own lunch, "hey, you ate quite a bit, Kenma. Good job."

"Thank you, Kuroo."

I actually am looking forward to meeting up with them. It's a lot easier to be around Bokuto when I dont have to be playing Volleyball. Plus, I like to hang out with Akaashi because it's calm. He's a nice refresh from hanging out with Kuroo.

Kuroo is a lot to handle, but I still really care about him. He's fun and I trust him. I'm glad I was able to tell him about my feelings for Bokuto. I feel like I've taken down another one of my walls.
