Eda helped Thyme to the door. "Come on," she said, "We're almost there." Eda opened the door and the two stumbled inside. All the guests standing around stared at them. "Edalyn!" exclaimed a man, who was most likely her father, "I told you no friends during my gathering!" "She's hurt dad!" shouted Eda, "She was attacked at the library! So the least you can do is help me help her!" The room was silent. Lilith ran out of the kitchen with an ice pack and gave it to Eda for Thyme, who looked like she could collapse at any moment. "Take her to you room," Eda's dad groaned, "Lilith will take care of her. In the meantime, put on some nice clothing and get back down here." Eda took Thyme upstairs to her room. "I don't wanna do this!" grumbled Eda as she grabbed a dress out of her closet. Lilith walked in as Eda went to go to the bathroom to change. "So," said Lilith, "You're Thyme?" "Yes," replied Thyme. "It's strange," Lilith sighed, "I've never seen you before. Nor have I heard the name, Noceda before." "I never told you my last name..." said Thyme. "Edalyn told me who you are," said Lilith, suspiciously, "Or who she thinks you are." Thyme couldn't speak. Lilith pinned her on the wall. "Who are you!?" she exclaimed. "I-I'm Thyme N-Noceda!" cried Thyme, "I-I'm telling the t-truth!" "And I'm Emperor Belos!" shouted Lilith, "Who are you!?" "Lilith!" screamed Eda from the doorway. Lilith turned to her sister, who was holding a fireball. "Let her go!" exclaimed Eda, "This girl has done nothing to you, so let her go! She's already been through enough today!" Lilith let go of Thyme. "Tell dad that I'm not coming down," said Eda, "You obviously aren't capable of taking care of a CHILD who needs care." Lilith stormed out of the room. Thyme fell on the floor and broke down crying. Eda rushed to her and held her. "It's okay now," assured Eda, "No one's gonna hurt you anymore. Not while I'm here." Thyme couldn't find any words. All she could do was cry. And Eda didn't blame her. She'd fallen from some kind of portal, suffered minor amnesia, and been attacked by Odalia and Lilith. All Eda could do now for her new friend was hold her, comfort her, and just let her let it all out. Eda's mother walked into the room. "What happened?" she asked. Eda looked at her and shook her head, as if to say 'not right now'. Eda's mom nodded and left, closing the door behind her. Thyme continued to cry, letting out everything that she had been holding in since she found out she had been thrown 62 years into the past, which is a pretty big deal. Finally, Thyme started to calm down. "I-I'm sorry.." she stuttered, "I- I just n-needed to cry..." "Look at me," said Eda, "You have nothing to be sorry about. I fully understand your pain." Thyme smiled a little, but that smile soon faded, as Eda's dad burst into the room. "I told you to come downstairs!" he screamed, "So get your ass down there now!" Eda knew exactly why he was acting this way. "Dad," she said, standing up and putting her hands up, "You've had too much apple blood. You need to calm down." "You are my daughter!" he screamed, "You do NOT tell me what to do! I tell you what to do!" Eda stepped back. Eda's mom then came into the room and restrained her dad. He struggled, but Eda's mom was really strong and managed to drag him out of the room. Eda frowned. She fixed her face and turned back to Thyme. "Sorry about him," she said, "He has a bit of a problem when it comes to apple blood." Thyme softly smiled at her, showing her that she was okay. Eda then walked back to her, extending her hand to help her up. Thyme took it and stood up. "Thanks," she said, turning her head so Eda couldn't see the slight blush grazing her face. Eda smiled. 'Why did Eda have to be so beautiful when she was young!?' thought Thyme, 'What am I thinking!? She's practically my grandma!' Thyme then realized that she had never let go of Eda's hand. She quickly let it go and felt her face warm up. "I-I'm sorry!" exclaimed Thyme. "It's really okay," assured Eda, "You need to stop saying sorry so much. From now on, if I hear you say you're sorry, I'm going to pick you up and shake you until you apologize for it." "But that's just saying sorry again," said Thyme. "That's the point," said Eda with a smirk. Thyme frowned jokingly. Eda laughed and picked her up, starting to shake her. "I didn't say it though!" exclaimed Thyme. "You just did!" laughed Eda, still shaking the girl. "Eda stop!" exclaimed Thyme, laughing a little. "As long as you promise to not say the S word again!" said Eda jokingly. "Okay!" relented Thyme. Eda then put the girl down. Thyme's hair was a mess. She smiled a big smile, revealing a gap on the top row. Thyme realized what she did and covered her mouth with her hands. "Don't do that!" exclaimed Eda, "You have a beautiful smile!" "Really?" Thyme asked with a little blush. "Of course!" exclaimed Eda, "Would you mind if I asked what happened?" "Not at all," replied Thyme, "It happened like this..."
Azura flew through the air on Amity's staff. "Look sis!" she exclaimed from the air, "I'm doing it!" "Be careful!" shouted Thyme from the ground. "I'm always careful!" shouted Azura. She then fell off the staff and landed on the roof of the house. The staff shot up in the air and flew back down. It then smacked Thyme right in the face, knocking out her tooth.
"And that's what happened," said Thyme. "Wow," said Eda, "Your sister sounds awesome!" "Yeah," said Thyme, "She is."
