Her crew technically aren't pirates, they don't pillage, they don't steal (unless they are corrupt and are unfiar they they pull some robin hood shit), they don't kill (unless nessicary) it's mostly just orphans on the run from the local authorities of the towns she stops by. They are labeled as pirates by governments because of how they disregard and disrespect most rules, seeing as how alot of times they cause quite a bit of an upstart/chaos where they go. Her 'pirates' are really just a bunch of misfit orphans exploring, finally having a family and dancing. They usually crash big parties and take it over, as well as singing in pubs and causing huge dances in town squares. All in all they are just one big found family going on adventures and having fun. Robin being the oldest and the captain is basically the mother/big sister figure to everyone.
