A knock on the door awoke Joel.
"I'm comin'" he said as he got off the couch, to answer the door.
"Where the hell were you?" Joel asked as he opened the door.
"I had to go on a run-"
"No, Tess. We had to go on a run."
"You wanted to be left alone, remember?" Tess reminded.
"What happened? " Joel questioned, referring to her face.
"A couple of jack-asses jumped me-"
"Are these 'jack asses' still with us?" Joel implied.
"Now that's funny," Tess said implying that she killed them.
Joel grabbed the kitchen towel out of Tess's hand to tend to her wounds.
"I got enough ration cards to last us another month." Tess added. "plus, I know where Robert is hiding." Tess added.
"Like hell you do," Joel didn't believe her.
"An old Warehouse in area 5. I can't say how long though."
"Well I'm ready now, you?" And they started off to go teach Robert a lesson
