No where left to turn~~~

♡~Part 1~♡

Rae Bakugou was looking through her misty, small, circular window, sitting on the small legde that connected to the wooden wall. Her room was more of an attic, her twin sized bed, though its more of just a bare matress on the floor, pushed into the corner with a small closet and a mini desk and the room as a whole looked rather bare with a low roof.

She was thinking on how angry her mother would be when she found out she had not been able to get the ingredients she had told her to get and was terrified at what she would do. Rae hadn't realized but she was shaking slightly as she saw a black SUV pull up in the drive way and had a wave of internal dread wash over her.

The house was quiet for a moment before she heard loud and aggressive foot steps pounding up the stairs, foot steps she knew all too well.

Rae shrunk back into the corner on instinct as her mother flung open the door, towering over her, though the roof seemed too low.

"Did you get the things I told you too?" Mitsuki asked her daughter rather threateningly.

Rae hesitated to answer, careful not to say anything stupid "n-no I- I'm sorry..."

Mitsuki swelled rather dangerously and she yelled "What do you mean you didn't get them!? Katsuki's friends are coming over for dinner and you haven't cooked anything yet! You! You're trying to make me look bad, aren't you!?" She was now red in the face, looking scandalized.

Rae quickly shook her head no "N-No i-it's just that e-everyone's closed on Sundays..."

"You- You- You ungrateful brat! You're lucky we even kept you even though you have a villains quirk! Why couldn't you have been born with a quirk like Katsuki!? But, no you decided to disgrace our name with that- that- that villains quirk!" She raised her hand to slap her.

Rae flinched automatically only to be met with a hard hand clashing with her face. That was definitely going to leave a mark. Mitsuki continued to kick and slap her into a pulp.

"Now get up and go work with what you have downstairs in the kitchen. Now!"

She scrambled up against the pain near her rib cage. She ran down the stairs as quietly as she could, not looking back in case that her mother was still there and take her hesitancy as a sign of weakness.

She made it to the kitchen still shaking slightly and rummaged through the cabinets for anything she could use. She saw her father sitting at the island table reading the daily newspaper, scanning through an article about another one of All Might's recent fights and other crap. She knew it was silly but she had an odd dislike for All Might.
She knew deep down it wasn't reasonable but she felt as though if anyone could help her, it was the heroes but they didn't. She felt resentful that the heroes wouldn't bother to help people like her. She took another look at her father. She looked more like her father than her mother, honestly. Unlike how Katsuki had blonde hair and red eyes like their mother, she had their father's dark brown hair and chocolate colored eyes. She had long, silky, straight hair up to her waist and light caramel skin. Her father wasn't physically abusive like her mother, but rather decided on passive aggressiveness. Instead of hitting her and yelling at her like her mother, he resided on ignoring her most of the time, and when he does acknowledge her insistence he did so only to make snide comments about her.

In all honesty, her favorite family member was Katsuki, her brother. She knew that he was sometimes mean and cocky and well, just overall acted like an asshole sometimes but he was the only one that showed her some care, or at least didn't treat her like a slave and he genuinely never made any sign against her having a villain quirk but she knew that he would bully their neighbor, Izuku Midoriya, about him being quirkless so sometimes it gave her a sick feeling in her stomach thinking about how Katsuki must've really thought about her quirk. She shook her her head trying to shake the dark thoughts from her mind and put the rack of ribs in the oven.
