Rae woke up to find herself sitting on top of a flat cardboard box against a brick wall. She rubbed her eyes questioning her surroundings and remembered everything that had happened last night.

'Shit' was her first thought when she stood up to stretch out her arms and legs, rolling her neck to popping sounds of its relieving cracking.

Now that it was day was not much of an improvement from the darkness last night seeing as the sun was being covered by what she couldn't tell if where clouds or smoke. Everything was a sort of grey and looked very poorly. She know saw that the brick wall she had slept against was in fact part of a liquor and smoke shop. The rest of the stores nearby looked similar.

She saw that the people walking by were always either too loud to be sober or they were walking quietly though very fast and hooded as though not wanting to be seen there. It was all a sketchy sight.

She, following the latter's example, pulled up her hood and started walking around to try to find out where she was.

All the street signs were so run down that all most 98% of the paint was chipped off making it impossible to make out what it said. She sighed and decided to walk into one of the stores to ask.

She walked into the liquor and smoke shop she had slept next to and scrunched up her nose at the smell of intense alcohol.

The bell on the door jingles as she timidly walked in and a man that looked to be in his 40's eyed her suspiciously.

"Aren't you a little to young to be drinking, miss?" He stated more than asked, a small smirk playing behind his dark brown beard.

Rae shook her head in alarm "Wh-what? O-oh no y-you've got it wrong, s-see, sir, I-I was j-just going t-to ask you i-if you could please tell m-me th-the address?" She tried her very best to sound polite, feeling that if she were to anger the man she would be in a lot of trouble.

He laughed a bit at this "Far from home are we, darling? Well, someone as pretty as you shouldn't be here in dirty old Kamino Ward, love. But if you want a good drink to go I'd be happy to give you a discount." He smiled cheerily at her which she found amusing for some odd reason "I'll even ignore the age restriction for you."

"T-This is Kamino Ward, then?" She responded, not acknowledging his compliments but smiled back at him as thanks.

"Yeah, but you wouldn't want to be staying long, trust me. Once you've had your fun you'll be running back to your big expensive house, won't you darling?" He winked at her.

She frowned a bit at this "If only I could... I don't really have any where to go at the moment..."

The man seemed to pity her for a moment and sighed "Well if it helps, I know a cheap inn around the corner, granted its probably not the best place to go" he frowned aswell "But otherwise I don't know what to tell you, love."

She smiled sadly again in thanks "Well, thank you, sir, but I think I'll see if I can find anything that I can stay at."

He watches as she opened the door again to leave "Well I wish you luck, darling, if you ever need any help just come and give me a visit alright?"
