A Heavy Hammer

Ethan yawns and rubs his eyes, the golden light of the sun peering through the curtains, lighting him and his loves body like that of an ethereal painting.

He yawns and stretches before turning to face the man beside him, sleeping peacefully as his grayed hair falls in his face. Ethan smiles and pushes it out of the way, placing a kiss on Heisenbergs forehead before sliding out of bed, putting on a hoodie and some pajama pants.

With slow, quiet steps he walks out of the room and down the hall to another room, opening the door to the nursery where a baby rose is standing in her crib, reaching for him with sweet little hands.

Ethan chuckles and picks her up, taking her into his arms with a smile as she coos softly, slobbering a little bit. He just shakes his head with a smile and makes his way to the kitchen, setting Rose in her highchair. "Want to help me cook for papa?" He asked softly and rose giggled excitedly.

Ethan got a few things out and put the ingredients in the bowl before giving rose the whisk, helping her stir and praising her when she did it right. Once that was done he made his way to the stove top and turned on the burner, setting down a skillet and pouring the batter onto the pan, humming softly.

Hes halfway through his third pancake when the feeling of warmth and a scruffy beard is against him, a soft smile coming over his face as he runs a hand back into the scruffy hair, gently leaving scratches. "Goodmorning." Ethan said softly to which heisenberg grunted, not fully awake.

Atleast not till he heard rose and a smile lit up on his face as he began playing with her, Ethan finishing up breakfast for them and getting the coffee pot started.

The smell of fresh brew filled the kitchen as did the sunlight of the rising sun, Ethan leaning against Heisenberg with a smile. It was a nice little family they had and he loved it with everything in his heart, he wouldn't have it any other way.

This was the happy ending.

Hi, im Hayden as you all know. You may have noticed my updates are pretty slow and this chapter is pretty short. I apologize for that, but as I stated in the last chapter im having some trouble mentally, and im also sick at the moment, so I appreciate everyone patience during this time. I hope you enjoyed this quick little one shot, as it's what I hoped for an ending in this story, maybe they'll get their happy ending.
