I put away my map and compass in my backpack. I scanned my train card and waited for the train to arrive. There were a bunch of people waiting for the ride. It must be rush hour. When the train arrived. A swarm of people got out. Then I quickly got on the train. There was no seat available. So I just stood and hold on to the railing. It was very crowded. There was no space between people. I don't know how they do this every single day.
After the train stop at Hamamatsucho Station, I decided to grab some snacks. I went to a booth and there were a variety of options. There were salmon onigiri which are rice balls with salmon in them. Also they had shrimp tempura, takoyaki which was octopus balls that are made up of octopus (tako), pickled ginger (beni shoga), green onion (negi) and tempura scraps (tenkasu). There was also sushi available as well as other sorts of bentos with a mix of chicken, fish, with rice and vegetables. I loved seeing the varieties of food that they offer. I decided to buy some sushi with some takoyaki. After I was done eating I waited for the next train to come by.
I transferred to Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport. The Tokyo Monorail was also packed with people. There were some hotties on this train. The best thing about being single was I can look around and have no guilt of who I am checking out. We made eye contact, but nothing happened after that. Finally the train stopped at Haneda Airport.
I got off the train. Since I won't be leaving anytime soon. I started to explore Haneda Airport. The airport was really big and had a lot of natural lights coming in. My flight is at 6 p.m. and it is only 12 o'clock. I like to be early before my flight. So I will have time to find the gate I'm supposed to be at, explore the airport, and I don't have to feel like I have to rush. I hate the feeling of being rushed. Plus, I thought I would get lost on my way to Haneda Airport. I would need that extra time, but lucky for me I didn't get lost.
