Ohm's apartment was loud and reeked of alcohol and sweat. People shambled wherever they got place, drinking and fooling around. I was in the balcony because I needed fresh air and some space to gather my thoughts around. Bright had made the breakfast in the morning and thrown me off guard. Why would he do that? Was he trying to recreate our times together? And what about the moment when he barged in my room shirtless just after shower? Did he really think his chiseled torso and perked up chest would lure me or something? I knew I was reading too much into things and may be he was just doing those things casually, assuming they meant nothing to me as well. Right, so be it, I had decided. But now, that we had arrived at Ohm's party and he was talking to one of Ohm's colleagues in the living room, I couldn't help be mad at him. I hated how big of an asshole I was being. He wasn't my boyfriend anymore and it had been five fucking years so why the stupid jealousy.

"You want him back." Fong said decisively, walking up to me.

I scoffed, "yeah right that's why I'm standing here instead of making a move on my drunken ex."

"Stop denying already" he said, "you know standing here alone is a part of it."

"Fong" I said sternly, "it's not funny. We are hardly talking to each other. I mean not that I'm sad about it..I rather figure it is best because we don't have anything to talk about without bringing past back. Neither of us want that so don't provoke me saying such things."

He nodded and patted my back.

"I'm sorry. Are you okay?"

I shrugged, "Yeah I guess. Just need some time alone to sort my feelings out."

Fong left and I turned back to face the moon. Bright had been out the entire afternoon god knew doing what and came ten minutes before we had to come at Ohm's. And as if that hadn't been enough of avoiding me, he was doing just the same in the party except now, he was assisted by a prop, a woman size.

"Why aren't you in the party?" A voice came from behind and I closed my eyes. Fucking heart. Fucking Bright.

"I- I don't feel like."

He nodded and then cast a glance inside the hall and laughed, "Your friends haven't changed a bit."

I missed that laughter.

"Umhm" I said, gulping from my beer, "glad you guys going along...hey!"

He snatched the bottle from my hand and stopped my revolt by holding my wrist. I let it go as I realised that may be I indeed drank too much. Too much that I was seeing concern in his eyes.

"Don't drink too much. I don't wanna pamper you after this party."

I loathed the way his voice was dripping mock like it was the worst thing to do in the world. Or may be I was the worst person for him to pamper.

"I don't need you to."

Why did he keep smiling I couldn't understand. I needed an explanation so I could explain to my fucking heart. God the mere idea of having him right next to my room while I am dead drunk gave me all sorts of warning I needed. I needed him to be away.

"Still. You have to drive remember?" He said flashing his injured hand to me and I rolled my eyes, while snatching the bottle.

"Fong will drop you if you want. I think I'll pass out here tonight."

His lips puckered in fowl and he nodded, looking away.

"Expecting someone late at night? Oh let me guess. Your boyfriend?"

I sprung my head in his side in surprise to see he was smiling bitterly.

He shrugged, "What? You don't really think I'd have a problem with you and Luke even after years, do you?"
