chapter 4 not a dream

No one's POV 

Simba and the rest of the lionesses came into view upon getting word that Nala was being attacked by hyenas outside of Pride Rock, but the report also stated that she was being protected by a strange creature. Without a moment to lose Simba mustered his forces and headed out to defend his queen and unborn cub. Upon his arrival all the hyena attackers stopped dead in their tracks and proceeded to back up slowly while many of them were already in full sprint running towards the out lands. 

 Simba's POV 

Simba lunged forward and took a protective stance over the young creature that was protecting his mate just moments ago, then growled ferociously. Shenzie looked to her sides, seeing her badly damaged pack, or wathching many of the hyenas running away in fear. Taking one final look at Simba in annoyance, she seemed to give up. 

Shenzie "Retreat!" She screamed But it was no use, a couple of hyenas were already being outmatched by the lionesses. She then looked around in a frenzied panic, glaring at the King in disdain. 

 Simba: "You dare to go after the queen my mate!" Simba started, "And I find you with her blood in your mouths? " He growled menacingly. Shenzie laughed nervously, 

"Really? This is the queen of the pride land we didn't know. She then turned to the one called Ed.

 "Ed did u know this was the queen?" She said in fear of the king's wrathThe one called Ed just shook his head up and down while laughing loudly. This only caused Simba to roar in pure anger. Which resulted in several more hyenas turning tail and running. But before Shenzi then turned around and hoped to still walk away with a kill.

 Shenzie: "But why... save this hairless monkey?" She said between cackling laughs, a few more of the hyenas joining her. Simba growled louder than ever, in a blink of an eye he quickly pounced into the air landing a few inches from Shenzie's face, while baring his fangs. 

Simba: "This hairless monkey saved my mate! And unfortunately for you, I have a debt to repay to him for his deed! Now scram!!!" He said with a roar. With that all the remaining hyenas ran away back into the out lands When he was sure they were all gone Simba turned back to see his mate with a worried face. But when he did he saw her standing up over the creature while pleading with him to wake up. 

 Nala: "Please Louise wake up please." she said while rubbing her cheek against his. Then when Simba saw Louises he could not believe it. The creature that had saved his mate and unborn cub was a human. Simba had heard of this species that were far more advanced and dangerous than any other because of their thunder sticks that they always carry with them. And yet this one had no thunder stick and looked to be no older than a child, but regardless of his age his kind was still very dangerous which caused him to back up a few paces. Yet Nala remained by his side. 

 Nala: "The poor thing!" She said suddenly, with a horrified expression, she inspected his wounds. His left leg and right arm being badly mauled, and he was bleeding alarmingly fast. Simba shifted uneasily,

simba:"Be careful Nala, we don't know what he's capable of." He said in a worried tone. 

 Nala looked to her mate with a look of anger and annoyance while raising an eyebrow. And upon seeing this look Simba almost cowered at the feeling from her look. 

 Nala: "He's only a cub, and he saved my and our cubs life Simba!" She said with a bit of frustration. Simba was caught off guard by her, clearing his throat with a bowed head 

Simba: "Yes, you're right." He said with a lowered head. Nala nodded slowly, paying him no mind as she turned her attention back to the Louise. The blood was coming out at an alarming rate, and Nala began fear for his life.
