Moonbyul came running into the Big House, pushing past the crowd that had gathered and had blocked the entrance.

You were in the infirmary, but so were the seven demigods earlier. That was a given since they were running away from the empousa unarmed and probably had no idea what was going on. Not to mention the empousa were giving their all to get them because of their strong scents.

The currently unnamed seven — who haven't been claimed by their godly parent yet, but were definitely bound to soon — were several beds away from you, being tended each by an Apollo child. They were shooting glances with each other before shooting glances to their savior: You.

But you didn't even spare them a single glance. The most recent one was when you explained who was going to help them.

They noticed that your expression was unreadable, but that expression seemed to keep everyone in the infirmary at least six feet away from you — minus the two people who had ran to you earlier as soon as you had returned from saving them.

"Y/N, how can we check if you're fine if you won't let any of the Apollo children look at you?" The guy who had pulled you into a hug earlier said.

Y/N. So that was your name.

"Why should I let them tend to me when I know they won't do it properly?" You replied, trying to stand up only to sit back down when the other one, the girl, pushed you back.

That comment made most of the campers there give you a side-eye, brows furrowing but chose not to say anything.

Some of the seven frowned, wondering why your words were so harsh.

"I told you, I'm not letting anyone check me unless they're—" You tried only to be cut off when the doors to the infirmary burst open, showing Moonbyul with a concerned look on her face.

All the attention went to her after causing the loud noise.

"Moonbyul unnie! What are you—?" One of the demigods tried to go up and ask her, only to zip his lips when she received a glare.

"What do you think I'm doing here? I thought I told everyone in our cabin that if Y/N is in here, someone calls me or any of our siblings who she's close to," Moonbyul rubbed her temples, sighing in frustration when none of her siblings looked at her.

When she didn't receive an answer, she took a deep breath and walked up to the bed you were occupying, quickly greeting the seven on the way and greeting the two who remained by your side.

"I'm here. Sorry I'm late," She glared at the nearby demigods before turning to you.

"No worries, it's nothing new," You shrugged. "You should already know by now that no one's going to pay attention if I'm mentioned... unless it's a negative comment." You had whispered the last part, the three people near you being the only ones who heard, leaving the seven curious.

Moonbyul rolled her eyes. "They're literal children. Ignore them. Anyways, where were we? Right, let me check if you received any wounds."

"Do I have to?"

Tzuyu and Xiaojun each lightly whacked your arm, making you wince and the others in the room flinch.

"You said that someone could check to make sure," Xiaojun reminded.

"... Fine," You mumbled.

"Good, now lift up your shirt..." Moonbyul trailed off when you took off your orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt, revealing your upper body that had a sports bra on and several scars that had stayed on your back and upper arms from all the training and quests you had gone through.
