IPL2018

10 days before the IPL commences.

Every player reached chennai before two weeks as it was their captain's order. Dhoni had said this because it was new team. Ofcourse they were same core team with Dhoni, Raina, Jadeja, Faf, Bravo, but every other player is new to the team and need to adjust to the condition and all should deal with the team combination. The two weeks practice sessions had payed and now everyone got an idea on each other's potential and strength.

It was a team meeting with the management and everyone gathered including Mr. N. Srinivasan and all other behind the screen support. Its main aim is to convey each and every player that csk was not a team but it's a family. Raina and dhoni decided that they will make sure that everyone are comfortable around each other.
Everyone was settled int their places as Raina said he would handle the youngsters he was sitting with them. While two tables after dhoni was sitting with csk manager and some officials of India cements.

Msd's POV

I was looking around the hall which filled with yellow t-shirts. Finally it's happening. This is what I wanted. This hall being filled with yellow and having our fun sessions in here. It gave us numberless memories. This is where we used to celebrate the wins, where we used to have post match meetings or pre tournament meetings regularly back when we weren't banned.

It feels all new. Why not?? It has changed!! Everything is changed, the team, the support staff, the ground, the sponsers but what remained constant is the support the support of chennai fans.

These people have loved me immensely, they had been giving me the constant support. I feel blessed to gain people's trust. But sometimes I feel do I deserve all this??

Myself and sonu coming from north and getting loved in the south and also getting special names is something strange and a..and that feeling can't be explained. I wish I could just erase the last two years in our lives. I mean from csk's history. But then again it showed us how much people love csk and the loyalty they  have.

Oh.. there is a video playing the projector. Its the journey of "us". From the start where we have built this team from ashes.
They are some memorable moments of every player on and off the field are shown  in that, if I compare the first year team with this team well only me,sonu, flem, bala,Hussey are included that too only me and sonu are still playing. I looked back where the coaches were sitting just like a telepathic connection the three looked at me and grinned just like saying "we are also thinking the same ms!!".

I returned the smile and turned a 45° or 80°... uhhh..leave... It I'm not so good in math. I turned a bit to find sonu but there he is talking with one of the youngsters. He is so good in handling youngsters isn't he??

I focused back to the screen where they were moments of our fun, our victory laps, our crazy adventures, our unique team bonding sessions which include mind blowing challenges and many more. I am feeling a bit nostalgic... Well a bit emotional too. Seeing all those memories even reminded me of the bitter past.  Though I accepted it and moved I still feel a bit emotional.

Thinking all these things I was zoned out and a loud cheer bought me into this world. I looked around to see Srini sir taking the mic. "Oh so maahi be ready to reminisce through your emotional memories" I said to myself. As I know Srini sir is very neutral person and the one who speaks about everything be it negative or positive.
