"Ada, it was a full suicide; the investigator doesn't want to continue his job because he already told you his conclusion, it was a suicide; it was Ellan's decision," Killian reassured me.
"Kill, it's not! Elfa will never try to kill herself! We haven't even checked the CCTV footage of the rooftop!" I sobbed.
"Adee," he said, using my other nickname, which he knows will calm me down. "There was no CCTV footage, nawawala iyong footage," he said.
"Then what?! Will we allow that to happen? Aren't we going to find out where the hell that CCTV footage is?" I stated.
"Just accept it, Adee-"
"No. If the investigator is unable to do his job, I will find it on my own "I stated.
"No," he said, quickly grabbing my wrist. "The last time I let you investigate, your investigation provided you with false information, and your own father wound up in the hospital because you blamed him," he said sternly.
I lock my gaze on him. "No one can stop me, and I don't care if I kill him this time," I said, turning around and grabbing the door handle.
"After all, it was his fault," I said as I exited the room.
