Natasha decided to go out for a run she felt things would be calm now between her two best friends. Unfortunately, she was very wrong. While she was out on her run. Nothing could go wrong with those two. At least that is what Natasha kept telling herself, willing it to be true. Unfortunately, once Natasha left the camaraderie did not go well at all. Steve and Bucky went at it. That's putting it lightly.

"What the hell Steve, why'd you have to go about flirting with my best friend!" Bucky exclaimed. "Oh, your best friend Buck, since when does Natasha and her heart only belong to you?" Steve countered with just as much anger in his tone. "I don't know Steve, maybe it was how close we got during drinking last night." Bucky smirked slightly almost toying with his best friends feelings.

"Oh, you got close with her, when I was going through something Bucky, how could you?" Steve glared at his best friend, he couldn't believe Bucky would approach Natasha like that without talking to him first. In no way were the two of them women, but Steve always thought he and Bucky would talk things through if they both took interest in the same human being. He shook his head seeing he was wrong. Whatever friendship the two of them had since WWII it's dissolved, since Bucky cannot keep his feelings for Natasha in his pants or at least let Steve know how he felt. In know way did this signify to Steve he must keep his hands off Natasha.

If anything, this only made him want to flirt harder with Natasha. Steve will no longer be as casual about his feelings or the way he dreams of touching Natasha. The shield is off, it's full power now with all of Steve's feelings. He will no longer be as careful of tapping Bucky's fragile little heart. He wanted Natasha with every single muscle that grew inside of him.

Natasha walked in almost breathless after her run. "Well you can suck it Steve I'm not holding back on my feelings. "Neither am I Buck, neither am I Steve countered ferociously. Before they both heard the door open. "Hey guys, is everything alright?" Natasha asked curiously as she was able to tell by the fire in both of their eyes, and the position of their fists that they are fighting. She hoped she will be able to get through to them. "Yeah, we're all cool Natasha Steve said as he delicately wraps his arms around Natasha's waist pulling her closer against him. Natasha's brow was quickly raising at Steve's actions. She always knew he could do this, but it was very rare for Steve to ever make a move on her right in front of Bucky. She was able to immediately infer what her two best friends were arguing about. "Steve is there something you'd like to tell me?" Natasha asked inquisitively. "I don't know that it's all that necessary Natasha, why don't you and I just get out of here for a little while?" Steve insists. "Where would we go Steve?" Natasha asked him rather curiously. "Maybe lunch, you look like you haven't eaten that much today. Natasha blushes immediately. No she didn't eat much today, she had a small meal then went to go on her routine run. Her not eating wasn't the thing that was abnormal. The abnormality was the fact that her two best friends, and co-workers as Avengers were now battling each other for her. This was a little much really. Natasha was definitely curious to see how hard they would both play at this game for her heart. Was it worth it? Part of her wanted to break up their battle right now. While a small fraction of her heart and mind kind of wanted to see how hard they would both play in this battle for her heart. She always thought denying her feelings for Clint back in Budapest was difficult, but choosing between Steve and Bucky. That might just take the cake in matters of relationships. Of course now she really has to think consider who she really does love more. Who does Natasha Romanoff feel a deeper connection with beyond their friendship.
