Jacob Portman (Part 8)

No one's Pov: Fast forward to the next day and Miss Peregrine sent Emma,Olive,Bronwyn,the twins, Millard,and Y/n to go get Jake. After dinner yesterday Miss Peregrine saw Jake on the boat, and was very eager to see him. Anyways, Horace was not to thrilled to have Y/n go get Jake with the others. He knew Y/n wasn't his s/o or anything but he was just so jealous for no reason. I mean he was so Clueless that he thought Y/n liked someone else. 

Y/n's Pov: After leaving the loop it took some time to find Jake but if I'm being honest it was worth it, well other than the fact the he literally knocked himself out when he saw everyone. And the fact that he ran right after he woke up in front of the loop. Mind you he also almost got himself beaten half to death if it wasn't for everyone else. Me and Millard has thrown stuff everywhere and Olive started a fire which I realized once we were heading back Miss Peregrine was not going to be happy, and Jake said that he threw all that stuff with his mind but whatever. Nevertheless I wanted to know what Jake was thinking so I decided to use my power on him. "Is that a new peculiar or am I imagining things?" 

Y/n: Yes I am a new Peculiar.

Jacob: W-what?

Y/n: *Sigh* I'm Y/n and I can read minds, nice to meet you Jake.

Jake: Oh nice to meet you too Y/n.

Me and Jake ended up talking right up until we got to the house.

Y/n: It's beautiful isn't it?

Jake stared at me with a confused look on his face, so I nodded my head toward the house. 

Jake: O-oh yeah. It's wonderful.

Once we got to the front door I could tell Jake was nervous so I gave his hand a little squeeze to let him know he's not alone I guess. Seconds later Miss Peregrine opened the door.

Miss Peregrine: Right on time! Miss Peregrine delighted to meet you. (Miss Peregrine and Jake shake hands.) I do hope I'm not going to have the pub landlord knocking on my door with the police again. I've had to kill them twice this month. It's been terribly inconvenient. 

Emma: Millard and Y/n broke a few things that's all, and Olive may have started a tiny fire, but they were going to hurt Jake. 

Emma leads us all inside but Jake stays behind with Miss Peregrine. When we walk in immediately everyone goes their own way. Bronwyn and the twins went to go play with Clair, and Millard, Emma, and Olive simply walked off so I was left standing there. After a few seconds of consideration I decided to go up to Enoch's room wondering if he was doing anything interesting. I started tiptoeing up the stairs thinking maybe I could scare him but when I got to his door it was closed and there was hushed voices barely audible. I leaned my head up against the door to listen and immediately I knew it was him and Horace.

Enoch: (Sigh) Incase you couldn't tell I'm not a very big fan of you but if it's what I have to do to get rid of him I'll do it.

Horace: I don't think it will be very hard for you your rude ninety percent of the time anyway. 

Enoch: Shut up before I turn you into a doll too. 

Horace: You wouldn't!

Enoch: You're right maybe I'll just tell her instead. Anyways we have a deal now get out.

I soon heard footsteps so I fled to my room. But what were they talking about? Who's her? What are they planning? I didn't have much time to figure it out because as soon as I sat down on my bed there was a knock.

I'm so so sorry to anyone who has been waiting to read this it's 10:30 at night and I start school tomorrow but anyways here's a cliff hanger for you guys ;)
