I walk into the school, looking around me, I know some people saw what happened at the party, I bet they were all so drunk they forgot about it, but still, just to be sure. My stomach is doing flips, I'm pretty sure Nathan is talking to the police currently, I don't know if the new has gotten out yet, but I don't know what I'll do when it does.

*Slam*

The wind from my locker being slammed shut pushes my hair back, I turn my face to meet Becas, who is fuming. "Are you ok?" I chuckle slightly. "I KNOW YOU MADE OUT WITH NATHAN!"

"PFFT, what?" I say with a wide grin, thinking she's joking.

"OH, YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU BACK STABBING BITCH!" Peoples attention start to turn our way. "I am positive I don't."

"AT THE PARTY!"

"I don't think you know what happened at that party, because I did not make out with Nathan-" I'm still smiling, because this is hilarious.

"OH, DON"T TRY TO DENY THE TRUTH, SLUT."

My smile fades. "Ok, I'm done taking this."

"AND I KNOW YOU ENJOYED SCREWING ME OVER YOU LITTLE-"

"BECA!" I slam my fist against my locker. "YOU DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I WENT THROUGH AT THAT PARTY! Ok, not everybody wants Nathan, can you wrap your small, little, mind around that!" She looks slightly taken aback. "Do you think Nathan would be talking to the police right now, if I wanted to "make out" with him? You think I'd have a BIT MARK" I pull my shirt back to reveal the mark. "On my neck, if I wanted to "make out" with Nathan. You think I'd have bruises on my waist," I pull the side of my shirt up to reveal the bruise. "If I wanted to "make out" with Nathan."

Her face looked washed with guilt. "Danny, I'm sorry I didn't-"

"No, Beca, I'm not done talking yet. You have been so clouded by your "love" for Nathan. When I hated Nathan, you liked him. When I hated Nathan, you made your dad pair me with his brother for a project, who I also hate! Now when he tried to rape me, you got angry at ME. Which is, well... insane. So, I am SO done listening to you idealizing him. You know what, about a week ago, he told me, he was in love with me, there has been so much going on, that you didn't see, because of your clouded judgment. You know he was using you to get to me, which I think is crazy, but I bet you still like him don't you." I lightly punch her arm. "So right now." I look around at the crowd that has formed and is now staring at me. "I have to get out of here, so goodbye Beca, for a long, long, time."

I start to walk away from the school, realizing that I have just ended, my first and longest friendship.

I am now completely alone.

I hear foot steps behind me and two hands are placed on my shoulders, I turn to see Carson. "Hey, what you did back there, is incredible."

Well, not completely alone.

"Are you sure, because, I just ended my life long friendship." I continue walking to my car, my mom said I didn't have to come to school today, I insisted on coming, and right now, I'm really wishing I didn't. "I know it really isn't my place to say anything, but I think you should've done it awhile ago, you expressed how you felt about Nathan, with good reason, I might add, and she didn't budge, good for you for standing up to her."

I get to my car and stop at the door. "Yeah, but she didn't know, I shouldn't have exploded on her."

"Same for her. She didn't know what happened, she shouldn't have accused you like that, knowing how you felt about him too." He leans on the passenger side of the car.

"I guess your right."

"You don't guess I'm right, you know I'm right."

"Don't push it." He lifts his hands in defense. "But yeah, you're right." I get into my car, Carson dose the same. "Whatcah doing?"

I panicked flashes across his face. "I dunno, what are you doing?"

"I'm leaving."

"I'm going with you."

"No, you have school."

"So do you."

"Yes, but my mom said I could skip today, which I am now doing."

"And I'm doing it with you!"

"No, you need to focus on your grades."

"You don't know that, you haven't seen any of my report cards."

"Yes I do, we do all our homework together, I know."

"Ok, I'm gonna pretend like I'm not hurt by that."

"No no, be hurt, it'll make me feel better." I start to put on my seat belt. "Ok, I'm gonna pretend like I'm not hurt by that."

He puts his seat belt on. "So I'm just gonna assume your staying with me."

"Yes."

I narrow my eyes at him. "So, no matter what I do, you're sticking around?"

"Yes."

2 hour later

"I did not agree to this."

I shuffle through the hangers. "You said you'd stick around, I need new bras. This is kind of on you." I say over my shoulder, seeing Carson wearing a slightly annoyed expression with arms full of shopping bags.

"How is this on me?"

"I told you to stay at school." I turn around with a hanger in my hands, holding the bra against my chest. "What do you think about this?"

"I don't know, what do you want me to say?" I turn back around, placing the bra back, shrugging. "Ok, well, you're the one who's gonna be seeing it." I mumble.

"What was that!?!"

I spin around tapping my chin. "We should get pretzels after this."

"No no, I'm confident that isn't what you said."

"Oh, you mean that part about the situation you're currently in being your own fault?"

"Nope, after that."

"So the pretzels?"

"You are a very frustrating person."

"I know, it's my favorite quality." I put on a malicious grin. "Ooh, I need some of that." I point at the lingerie section of the store, his head turns to see where I'm pointing. "Holy- You're gonna fucking kill me."

"That's the goal."

~~~
"I'd say, it's been a pretty good day."
"Strongly disagree."
I put the keys into the ignition. "I had a good time, I got a bunch of new things, and I didn't even have to carry any of them."
"Yeah, that's because I got nothing and held everything."
"Who's fault is that?"
"You! You kept handing me things!"
"Who said you couldn't hand them back?"
"I-" His gaze moves from me to out the windshield, I point at him. "Exactly."
