I step off of the plane, holding my suitcase tight. Nothing but thoughts flowing around me.

Kid?

Daughter?

Stepfather?

Im to young and to busy, how am i supposed to manage a child? I take a deep breath in a look through crowd for my wife. I pull my phone out and look at the previous messages.

Ill pick you up

I clutch onto the handle and look up at the lights.

Jesus make this easier. I dont believe in god no, but shit whatever helps.

"KOOKIE" A squeeky voice yells.

I look down and is met with someone jumping into my arms. I smile greatly and pour all of my emotions into the hug.

"Hi my love" I huffed out.

"I missed you so much" she muffled into my chest.

I smile and set her down. Her long silky brown hair and brown orbs that could have you trapped for days is all mine. Her small height and the way her smile reaches her eyes. Her perfect lips i could kiss forever. Everything i ever wanted, is mine.

She looks up at me and smiles, "You okay?" I look at her lips than her eyes.

"Better than ever darling" I pull her in with a kiss. It wasnt a i miss you kiss, or a lustful one, but all my love and adoration. We pulled away and put our forheads together.

"Im so glad your here" she huffs out.

"Me to" I smile.

The thought of a child slipping my mind. The responsibility, the extra love, a son. All of it, glided away.

"I love you so much"

"So then I said, 'That cat looks like you' and i swear the whole building was laughing. Oh my god it was the best goodbye party ever"

She smiled eating a piece of stake.

We decided to catch up over a dinner and we were both really hungry, for each other and also some bomb ass food.

"That sounds wonderful baby" I say smiling at her.

She smiles back but it fades quicker than i could register.

"Whats wrong?" I say reaching over the table and grabbing her hand.

She takes a deep breath, "We need to talk about Taehyung" she sighs.

My eyebrows raise "Whom?"

"My Son"

I freeze

"Im sorry for not telling you sooner, but it hurt to talk about him"

I retreat my hand and sip the red wine. Red wine is always by source of relief. I can feel so trapped and desprite often and wine helps.

"Baby please answer me" she begs with pleading eyes.

I look up and sigh. "Whats there to talk about? You have a son I didnt know of and now you want me to raise him. Pretty simple to me" I say clenching my jaw.

It was hard for me to be nice. She was the one who always said no secrets but here she is revealing her biggest one. Who know maybe she has more.

"Baby dont be like that just let me explain"

I nod my head and lean back, crossing my arms.

"I didnt want to give him to my ex but i had to, he wouldnt let me see him because he said 'youll be here one minute then back to med school the next' he needed a stable mom. He still dose, after all these years I never thought i was stable enough, that i couldnt do it. But you give me so much life and energy i know i can. You make me believe in myself. Im so sorry for not telling you sooner but now that i know i love you, and you love me, i can finally reveal it. Im not asking you to stay and make a big commitment, but just know i want you here for this journey" she said tearing up.

I got up and hugged her.

"I could never leave you even if I tried" i smiled and kissed her head.

"Youll stay.?"

"Of course"
