Chapter 2 The Letter

          "Ok, you're doing it too slow, the suspense is killing me!" Lucy said as she grabbed the letter out of my hand, teared it open and handed it to me.

         "READ ITTT!" She said as I unfolded the paper.

         "Ok, ok jeez!" I said giving her a glare, that's a thing I'm pretty good at giving people glares. I looked at the note which was designed with hearts and strangely drawn flowers, then I read it.

 Dear, Nova

         I have been wanting to say this for a very long time, but never got the courage to... I like you, Nova. But you probably wouldn't even guess who I would be. I've always liked you but we have never gotten to talk. And if you want to see who I am, meet me at the basketball courts after lunch if you can.

         Cheesy, I thought to myself, super extra cheesy but nice. It was pretty short but if I were him I probably wouldn't know what to say either. I also wondered why he would say I wouldn't guess who he was? It didn't really make any sense, was he like an enemy from something because the last enemy I have was Thomas William, and he was from 3rd grade. It couldn't possibly be him, but whoever it was wrote some cheesy love letters.

          "Omg, are you going?" Lucy said excitedly. As I folded the paper up and put it in my pocket.

         "Maybe, I am not sure," I said, playing with my hair, by twirling it around in my fingers.

         "Then if you don't, I will make you," Lucy said with a freaky grin on her face, again.

         "Ok, ok i'll go," I said, as my face turned pink. Then the school bell rang which meant it was time for class, and I had math the worst class EVER.

         "Ok, go!"Lucy said, pushing me out the door, as I stopped myself.

         "What if this is a prank I don't think I should go," I whined not even looking through the window.

         "Nova, grow up a little you will be fine i'll be right here if you need me." Lucy said reassuringly.

         "Ugh, fine," I said as I peered through the window to see a boy that I recognized, I think. OH WAIT I DID RECOGNIZE HIM!

         "I um I-" I started struggling for words as Lucy looked at me like I was crazy and I was.

         "You, ok? DO I NEED TO TAKE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL??!! OMG NOT BEFORE YOU MEET HIM!" Lucy cried, if anyone needed to be taken to the hospital it was her, mostly for mental reasons.

         "I'm fine Lucy, it's just, well look," I said pointing to the window so Lucy could see.

         "Omigosh, is that him?" Lucy said with wide eyes, I couldn't believe it, he was my secret admirer?
