Two millennia ago, a group of planets was discovered, capable of supporting life. They were called the Hosts. Although no one knew if they hosted anything at all.
But they did; and when we arrived, the natives greeted us with kindness, only to turn around and betray us less than a century later. Wars broke out, with fierce fighting raging on two of the twelve Hosts.
After nearly five hundred years, the fighting subsided and negotiations began. The planets were reduced to rubble, nothing but a barren wasteland incapable of supporting life. What once were terrestrial paradises, filled with extraordinary wildlife inhabiting the lush forests blanketed in fog, and cloaked in mystery, were now nothing but deserts, with mountains of jagged rock and seas of sand, a land where nothing could survive. Even if it was adapted to the harshest conditions, the oxygen rich atmosphere was burned up by the M-WSST's fire bombs and high tech, space-based weaponry.
