My head throbbed as if someone had sent a drill straight through the bone of my skull to my brain and then proceeded to swirl it around.

Everything around me felt cold. The air. The ground. Had I forgotten to turn the heat on? Why the hell was I on the floor of my kitchen, or my bathroom maybe?

I reached my hand out to feel, but was met with smooth, cool, dirty concrete and something wet and sticky. My kitchen and bathroom were neither which sent off the first red flag in my mind, begging for me to fully regain consciousness worried what that stickiness may be when I awoke.

It was a struggle to open my eyes, to regain my thoughts of why I felt like I had been hit by a semi-truck, why I was somewhere other than my home and after a few moments I finally forced them open.

I blinked a few times and tried to assess the darkness around me. After some time, my eyes finally adjusted to the light and my heart sank and dropped to the abyss of my stomach as I breathed out shakily.

I was in a basement. A basement that I had never seen before. And what I had touched had been blood.

I squealed like a new born pig and wiped the fresh crimson blood from my hand onto the floor. On my ass I scurried as far as I could away from the puddle of blood and to the wall.

And then it was as if everything from the night before came rushing back to me as a sinister voice called out from behind me, "So glad you are awake. Now we can really have some fun."

Who do think the voice belongs to?

What "fun" do you think they will have?

Anyone curious as to how Alanna got here, or where Annie is?

Keep on reading and you will find out soon! Don't forget this story will jump around a bit! Would it be helpful if I add times to the days so it made more sense? There is a reason for the time jumps that you will see soon!
