The sun was setting as three friends came home after a successful day of doing missions. It wasn't hard at all since their opponents weren't that strong, save for one special grade but even that wasn't much of a challenge since it was similar to the first finger bearer curse they had fought sometime ago. Back then that would've been a challenge but now they've grown a lot stronger and thus it was a piece of cake to exorcise curses of that level this time around.
"Hey why don't we have game night later?" Kugisaki suggested to her two male companions. As per usual, Fushiguro wasn't interested.
"That's a great idea Kugisaki-san! What game do you have in mind?" Itadori matched her energy as he always does.
"I was thinking we play Valorant."
"Oh! Awesome! I didn't know you played that and also I haven't played that in awhile." The pink haired boy turns to Fushiguro who seemed to be ignoring them. "Fushiguro, you'll join us right?"
"No thanks."
"But Fushiguro, without you we wouldn't have someone giving us strategies." Itadori was right. Both he and Nobara were no-brainers for the most part while Megumi seemed to know what to do almost all the time. One could say that he has the only braincell in the group.
"What the heck Itadori?? Are you saying that you do not trust my wisdom in strategizing in game?" Oops looks like Yuuji accidentally hurt his friend's ego without realizing.
"She's right Itadori. Kugisaki can tell you what to do. I'll rest tonight since today has been exhausting-"
"But Fushiguro" Itadori suddenly held one of Fushiguro's arms with both hands and looked at his friend with the cutest puppy dog eyes ever. "Please."
Even he would never dare to admit it, Megumi had a soft spot for his best friend Yuuji. He felt a tug from deep within his heart and everything in him was telling him to just go along with Yuuji.
"Urgh fine. But only a couple rounds." The dark haired boy said as he sighs in defeat. He couldn't say no to Yuuji and besides he actually wanted to play too but again he would never say that out loud. He watched as Itadori's face lit up and the boy began saying "yey" on repeat. Megumi smiled, he loved to see his bestie happy.
"Tsk. You really don't believe in my strategies then." Kugisaki remarks which broke Itadori out of his happy thoughts.
"Kugisaki... that's not what I meant by asking Fushiguro to join. I believe in you Kugisaki, its just that I want us three to play y'know. This way we'll have two strategists in the team."
The girl punched Itadori's arm. "Idiot." She mutters as she speeds along the sidewalk.
"Aw. What was that for?" Fushiguro slightly giggles at his clueless friend. Yeah Itadori's kinda dumb but thats just a part of his charm.
"Hurry up you two, we still need to eat dinner."
---
After they have eaten dinner and set up their computers, the teens were now ready to play videogames together. They were all in their respective dorm rooms so they had to be on a voice call together so they can communicate while playing.
"I haven't played first person shooter games in awhile. I think my aim will be bad." Itadori said, scared of having lost his touch in videogames.
"Don't worry about it, I'm on the same boat." Fushiguro says calmly as he was adjusting his Discord settings so that his friends' volumes would be just right.
"Looks like I'll have to carry your asses huh." Kugisaki was full of confidence tonight. Well, she loved the spotlight so it is only natural.
"We'll see about that Kugisaki."
