"i'm pregnant."

"you're what?" logan looked at her in disbelief. there was no way she could be pregnant. they had been careful! oh my god was he going to have to marry her? was she going to keep it? what if-

"and before you freak logan, i'm not keeping it."

"what the hell do you mean you're not keeping it. it's mine isn't it?"

"yes it's yours."

"well i don't want you to... get rid of it!"

"not that it's your place to decide," she eyed him angrily, "but i'm not ready to be a mom right now. i'm 23!"

"well there are other options!"

"like what? adoption? i'm not going to bring an innocent child into the world just for them to be forced to live in foster care and not be loved. who knows how long it would take for them to be adopted."

"fine, then..."

"then what?" she prompted impatiently.

"i'll take it." he said firmly.

"you'll take it?" she mocked.

"i'll raise the baby on my own."

"you, logan huntzberger, are going to raise a baby."

"you make it sound like i'm incompetent!"

"well when it comes to children..."

"i'll figure it out"

"this isn't a decision to just make on a whim logan. it's a child. a human being."

"i understand what a baby is," he said sarcastically, "but i'm not going to let my son or daughter die when i am willing to raise them and love them without you."

"i don't want to be involved logan."

"and you won't be." he challenged.

"i'll have to be! one day he or she is going to ask about their mom and what are you gonna do, lie to them?"

"no i'll just say.. you aren't in the picture."

she scoffed.

"whatever. fine. but you're not going to be my boyfriend."

"i didn't say i was."

"you can be involved as much as you like but only concerning the baby. once it's here, i'm gone. i don't care if it's complicated. you can figure it out. i'll just stay in the hampton's house until they're born and no one will even know i'm the mother."

"whatever you want." he sighed.

"fine then. call me if you want."

"fine."
