Happily ever after isn't common in this world...only those with pure luck are safe from the unfortunate events of the realms curse. Some say that it isn't possible for everyone and thing to not get at least one happy ending...well it is possible for the realm of Lyronia. It was plagued by a god due to the sinful actions of all the creatures over 20,000 years ago.
Today, things aren't that different besides the upgrading of our society. Those unhappy ever Afters still happy and keep everyone's happiness away from their hearts. I guess you can say we don't feel happiness or hope anymore. Mostly sadness or anger because of the loss of love ones, money, housing, etc.
The god chosen this path to teach us a lesson for all those evil deeds we've committed...but it will soon change unexpectedly...
