Plants vs Grimm (old version)

(Authors note: sorry it took so long for a new chapter, on the side note, happy birthday to Plants vs Zombies, over 13 years sense its inception of zombie bashing fun.)

third person Pov: location: beacon academy: on an airship sat our hero, the Gardener, next to him was one ruby rose and next to her was his neighbor crazy Dave and surrounding them were a bunch of plants, what followed after Glynda met them was a trip to the police station, crazy Dave somehow got word of this and jumping into penny, he quickly drove to the police station in question, how Dave knew where it was, Gardener wasn't sure, what followed was Dave acting like a lawyer despite it not being a court room but rather an interrogation room, Dave did surprisingly well and played the role of an insane lawyer quite well despite it not being needed, regardless Glynda let our heroes off with the mixture of a warning and invitation, the warning bit primary directed at ruby on the grounds of her not being a full blown huntress yet and how she could've gotten hurt, as for the invitation part, well beacons headmaster wanted to meet our heroes but couldn't arrive at the station due to him being busy, our heroes where now walking along the pavement as a hoard of plants hopped along the ground following their human friends, the plants gathered many eyes alone as ruby gave crazy Dave and the Gardner a tour in a sense. 

third person Pov: location: beacon cafeteria/lunchroom: "and this is the cafeteria! where we, well, eat" said ruby at first dramatically before turning into somewhat awkward tone of embarrassment, most of the students paused eating as they looked at the new arrivals, or more accurately, at the plants, cause hey, despite all the odd stuff about remnant, moving/sentient plants are a total new one to the entirety of remnant.

 the plants themselves didn't seem to mind however as they tried to explore this new area, besides the house, the odd road trip, or a travel though time, the plants largely only ever see the Gardners house and in turn the Zen garden, thus when road trips happen, plants, whether their happy-go-lucky sunflowers, stoic tall-nuts, Fiery explosive plants or sleepy fungi, even the shyest or easily scared plants take the opportunities to explore when able, thus crazy Dave and the Gardner often have to keep a close eye on them lest they wonder off and get lost.

with a gesture from their human friends, they hopped along and saw more humans waiting from them, those humans where Ruby's teammates and their friends team JNPR, the first of ruby's team was Weiss Schnee, heiress of the Schnee dust company who was looking at the plants in obvious confusion as she slowly looked at ruby and the two humans who were with the plants, the next member of team RWBY was Blake belladonna, the ninja of team RWBY and a Faunus hidden in plain sight which only few know her real identity, like Weiss she too was deeply confused and yet for reasons she wasn't sure, the large purple plant with rows of razor sharp teeth, made her instincts flair and it reminded her greatly to that of a dog, and finally yang xiao long, ruby half-sister/big sister, an expert in punching things and rather "gifted" in the chest department, despite her rather flirty and mischievous nature she cares deeply for ruby and will do anything to protect her while searching for her lost mother, like the rest of her teammates she was more confused than anything but at the same time cautious, while she could tell they were just plants, she wasn't dumb enough to discard them as a threat to her baby sister.

as for their friends the first one on the block was the leader of team JNPR, jaune arc, an insecure and admittedly not very skilled combatant with having lied his way into beacon, despite this, he aspires to be a hero like his ancestors and while lacking in martial prowess he makes up for it with remarkable leadership skills and strategy, next in line was the hyperactive bombshell of team JNPR known as Nora Valkryie, don't let her short size fool you, she is packed with strength and with a fondness for explosions that's only beaten by her love of pancakes (and ren), she may be crazy (not crazy Dave crazy though) but she will protect her friends no matter the cost, unlike the others she was kinda confused but also happy in a sense as she looked at the plants following ruby, though her gaze seemed to hardened slightly at the sight of the chompers as they metaphorically stared at the stack of pancakes she was eating, next on the list is Pyrrha Nikos, the champion of the mistral regional tournament winning 4 years in a row and the mascot of pumpkin petes marshmallow flakes (despite said cereal not being very healthy), despite this she is a humble girl who wants to be seen as something beyond a champion and has a crush on a certain blond knight, in battle she is a force to be reckoned with able to wipe the floor with a whole team of huntsmen in training and slaughtering Grimm to compliment it and while humble, and her very apologetic nature, she has this sense of battle lust when she fights someone able to go toe to toe with her or is similar to her own skills, like with everyone else save ruby and Nora to an extent, she was looking at the plants in confusion and not without a hint of disbelief, onto the final member of team JNPR was lie ren better known simply as ren like with Blake on team RWBY he was the ninja of team JNPR, ren along with Nora where the sole survivors of the village kuroyuri's destruction at the hands of the Grimm, like Blake, ren is usually mellow and wish's for peace and quiet on contrast to Noras more energetic personality, an expert cook and a surprisingly good dance instructor, like Nora has feelings for him its vice-versa though both have yet to so say it in public and try to keep it hidden, like everyone else save ruby and the 2 humans that lead the plants, he was confused as well though was less open about it in the form of a raised eyebrow.
