The Train

Coasting down on the railroad tracks
With no towns or cities to be seen,
The train makes a long-awaited journey
That will take more than one life to complete.
Weaving along with the rickety track,
The train carves its forgotten corse
And does not rest and does not slack.

Move along, train, for your trip is far,
Too far and too long, for mere mortals
To travel and to go along with you
