The day everything changed

chapter 16

Joel's POV

I woke up in a chair in a bright room. "So you finally decided to wake up sunshine" said a man with a uniform standing in the front of the room. "What do you want from me" I said. "You and your friends have been messing up our plans" said the man. "What are you going to do with us" I said. He laughed and walked out of the roof telling something to the gaurds outside of the room. They came in and dragged me out of the room. I passed some more rooms seeing zombies being testtled with strange liquids that the scientist were injecting into them. We exited the long hallway and left through an exit and went out of the building I met up with the rest of the team in the back of a armoured truck. When they were loading in Chris he turned around and grabbed one of their guns and killed them we got out of the truck and a alarm sounded Chris went to the front of the truck and killed the guard that was in the drivers seat. Zoey went in the front wland me and Ellie stayed in the back. We drove of until we saw a gate. Chris stopped and I got out to open the gate. We heard gunshots behind us. I ran and jumped back into the the truck and we sped off. We were a quarter mile away when an army truck started chasing us. One of the men shot one of our tires and we started swearving around. I shot and put one right between the drivers eyes and the truck crashed and blew up into a ball of flames. The truck stopped we got off of the truck and went to the front. "You guys go without me I'll lead them the other  way while you guys go the other way" said chris. Before any of us could answer he got in the truck and drove off. We started running away and didnt stop until we couldn't here any trucks.
