AK: Anna....(gets up and takes his car keys kept aside) ambulance venam.... Car la poirlam.....
H: (giving one hand to Mani for her to hold on to while the other supporting her back to help her getup) Chotti.... Onnum illa ma.... VA....
They pack all the necessary things to be taken to the hospital while Ashwin runs to the car.....

In the car....
H: chotti Konjam poruthukoooo ma.....
M: Ennaku Onnum illa.... Padharadheenga.... I'm okay..... light ah vali....
S: akka en mela kaal vechikonga.....(tears).
M: Sivu....(tears up with a fake smile) azhada d.... Akkaku onnume illa....

Ashwin drives as fast and safe as possible.....

DOCTOR: she has started having contractions.....
H: Mani safe dhaneeee doctor?
D: yes, she is alright.... Just in pain.... Anaesthesia kuduthrukom.... She is in sleep....

Hussain sat on the chair crying.....
P:(sitting next to him) Dei.... Onnum aagadhu.... Mahira papa seekrama vara pora....
H: illa da....chotti ku naan kashtam kuduthatheeee illa.... Avala ennala ipdi paaka mudiyala....

While Ashwin is on the other side, completely disturbed and his eyes slightly wet....
SK: Ashwineyyyyy..... Onnum illa.... Akka is safe, adhan doctor eh sollitaangala.... Mahira papa Innum konja nerathala vandhuduva.....
AK:(smiles) illa.... Mani azhudhodanayeee ennaku oru madhiri aayiduchu.... Akka hospital la admit aanapo kooda naan Andha ward laye illa.... Bayam.... Apram papa kaila kondu vandhu kuduthappa kooda, naan romba bayandhu bayandhu dhan vaangune....
Ippo.... (Chuckles)....
SK:(cheers him up)(shakes him) Ashwineyyyyyy! Nee mama aaga poraaaaa!!!!! Yaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!!
AK:(laughs at her cuteness)....and nee athai....(pokes her nose)....
SK:Athaiyaaaa? Adhellam mudiyadhu....
AK: yeeeennnnn?
SK: ayoooo Ashwineyyyyy..... athai lam koopta Enna old ah kaamikum.... I'm not old....
AK: Appo naan mattum old ah Enna?
SK: (smiles) aama Neenga Palaya aalu dhana?
(Gets up and runs away)....
AK: eiiii! Nillu maaaa!

We could hear screams from inside....
A: eiiii! Enna da ipdi kathura?
H: Dei Ashwiney bayama iruku da.....
P: hussainuuuu.... Bayadatha Machan....
Nurse: yaarachu oruthavanga ulla vandhu nikkalam....
A: Anna po na.....
After some time of wait....

DOCTOR:congrats.... Ungaluku ponnu porandharuku....
P:(whispers to Rakshan) adhu engaluku theriyadha.... Naanga Peru vechu, future eh decide pannitom....
Rakshan laughs....
Everyone congratulate Hussain and hug him with tears....
They bring out Mahira papa....
H:(tears while he is handed Mahira) hi....(looks at Ashwin and the others) chotti... naan dhan un appa....
S: anneyyyyy!(hugs her brothers) naan akka aagiten neyyyy!
P: Na mamaaaaa!
R: naanu!
Sivaangi is free and happily playing around with Mahira while the boys are standing at 3 ft distance....
H:Dei.... Vaanga da.... Mahira papa... unga mama paakreengala?
Dei indhanga da....
The boys stay away from the baby.... Scared to to touch that small body....Pugazh and Rakshan move closer to see Mahira.... And play with her....
H: Enna da?Ashwin.... Indha papa paaru.......
A: ayooo.... Anna....
H: Dei.... Onnum aagaathu indha papa pudi....
Ashwin hesitates but manages to move closer....

AK'S POV:
I was too scared to move close to her.... But at last I did and the moment I saw her face.... Her cute expressions with a smile....
A: hi.... Naan un mama...
She holds onto his finger....
H: kaya pudichitaaaa....
P: aaha.... Dei! Nee endha ponnayum vittu vekradhula.... Unnala ippo Ellam ponum Enna Anna nu koopdudhu....
Everyone laugh....
These were moments to be cherished..... I could feel the tears in my eyes.... Not just mine but everyone's eyes.... That's how cute she was....

Soon we were allowed to meet Mani....

M: papa.... Enna madhiri azhaga irukka da....
A: sooniyameeee.... Mahira papa devadhaiiii! Nee ratchasi!
M:Dei Ashwineyyyyy....
A: ei Romba asaiyadhaaaa.... Rest edu.... Veetuku poi sanda podalam....
M: Mahira peru epdi vandhuchu theriyumaaaa?
P: ithula Enna questions....ma: manimeghalai, h: Hussain: ra unga sondhakaranga pera irukkum....
M: illa....
All: apro?
M:(looks at Hussain who leans in to side hugs her).
M-Mani.
A-Ashwin.
H-Hussain.
I-SIvaangi
R-Rakshan.
A- PugAzh.....
The rest of them had tears....
They ran up to Mani and slowly hugged her.... With papa amongst them.....

P: apro mani.... Inimel papa Unna left right vaanguva.... Enna thimira suthunaaaa?
R: aama.... Oreyyyy diaper changing, cleaning, washing dhan.....
S: anney! Yen akkava bayampuduthireenga? Akka.... Mahira papa, Enna madhiri.....torture panna maata.... Laaahhhhh?
Ashwin smiles and side hugs Sivaangi.....
Mahira papa smiles with a squeak!
S: akka! Mahira papa.... Ippo sirichaaaa!
Sivaangi laughs holding her stomach.....
Everyone laugh looking at her.....

After sometime, Mani Is put to sleep with anaesthesia.... The others are told to wait outside....

Ashwin is sitting in one of the chairs admiring how Sivaangi is playing with Mahira.....

P:(sits next to him followed by Rakshan) Enna mapillai?
A:(comes out from his admiring mode)sollu da....
R: thangam Enna Azhaga pathukura la....
P: aama da.... Papa ku diaper change panni vitta, kulipatina.... Dress pota....
A:(smiles) Sivaangi nalla mature aagita da.... Naan dhan avala kozhandhai nu sollitu irundhen....
Romba happy ah irukku.... Avaloda innocence avala vittu pogala.... Aana ava oru woman ah maritaaaa....
Chinna ponnu illa.... She is a lady now....
P: unnakaga dhan da....
Ashwin turns to look at Pugazh with a smile and surprise filled face....
R: enna da apdi paakura....Thangatha ennaku therinja varaikum....ava yaarukagavum avala maathikave maata....avala enna dhan sonnalum, ava avaloda individuality ah vittu kudukave maata....avala paathu yaaracha.... nee enna payan madhiri suthikitu irukenu keta, naan apdi dhan nu sollitu pova....
aana....ava eppo unna paathalooo....un kooda pesa aarmichalo, un kooda pazhaga aramichalo....ava romba marna....in a good way....nee sonna madhiri dhan....oru woman a marunaaaa.....that is how much you mean to her.....
P: aama da.....avaluku nee na romba pudikum machan...engalayum pudikum dhan...aana, nee avala vera madhiri affect panniruka....ellarum avala oru kozhandaiya paathanga...nee oru woman ah avala treat panna....

Ashwin smiles and hugs them both with tears of happiness.....

They soon reach home....
H:(holds and gives Mani a support while she walks into the darkness filled house) paathu va....
Ashwin is carrying Mahira.....
They switch on the lights.....

M:Deiiiii! enna da? idhellammmm yaaru panna vela?
A: Pudichirukaaaa?(goes near Mahira's ears)Mahi....Pudichirukaaaa da?
P:Ashwin idea dhan d idhu...
M:(moves to Ashwin and side hugs him along with Mahira) Papa....indha madhiri oru pasamana mama unnaku kadaika nee koduthu vechirukanum....
A:emotional ah?
M: ama da......(fake cries)....
A:set aagala.....ulla va....

They all settle down with the boys along with Sivaangi playing with Mahira.....Mani and Hussain sitting aside admiring them....

SK: eyyy....iva yen endhirikaaaveeee maatra?
A:(chuckles) kozhandainga romba neram thoongum ma....
P:Ippa ava mulicha mattum nee enna pannuva?
S: naan ava kooda pesuven....
R: ava ippa than veetuku vandhuruka...endhirichi odiduvaaa.....
S:(glares)....
R:sorry thangam....(chuckles).....

They all talk with Mani for sometime while Mahira papa is asleep....

A:Seri Mani....Naanga kelamburom....Ethachu na koopdu....
M: ok da....
A:Sivaangi?
M: enga da pona iva?
P: papa inga irukka....

They all walk to the bed to find Sivaangi sleeping beside Mahira....with her hands patting Mahira even in sleep.....
Everyone stand there admiring....
Soon Ashwinslowly moves towards the bed, takes the patting hand of Sivaangi and puts it over his shoulder as he lifts her up bridal style....

A: Seri Mani.... Anna.... Paathukonga....
Naanga varom.....

They leave the house after biding byes.....
