SR: Sivu... it's okay.... En kitta pregnancy testers irukku.... Nee Ashwin kitta solradhu na sollu....
SK: illa Srinisha.... I don't want to scare him....
SR: ei loosu! Avanga yen bayapada poranga.... Wait Na poi strips eduthu varen.....

Sivaangi sits there shaking her legs, looking at nowhere while playing with her lips.....

SR: indha! Poi check pannuuuu!
SK:(doesn't get up from the couch) illa.... Ennaku oru madhiri irukku.... I need him....
SR: Sivaangi... inga paru....nee poi test panna dhane theriyum whether Adhu oru good news ah illaya nu? Apro anyways we are going back to Chennai in a day.....You can meet him....
SK: (walks to the washroom) Sri....
SR: bayapudatha....

It's been like twenty minutes since Sivaangi locked herself in the washroom....
SK: SRINISHAAAAAA!
SR:(runs to the door) ennachuuuuu?

The door slowly opens.... Sivaangi walks up with tears rolling down her cheeks as she hugs her with her hands hugging her neck....

SR: Enna da aachu?
SK:(shows the test) two lines....
(She releases herself from the hug) naa pregnant ah irukennnnnn.....
SRINISHAAAA! I AM PREGNANT.....
SR: superrrr Sivaangi..... (tears up) I'm soooo happy.... Chutti kuzhandaiku kozhandaiiii.....
They both cry letting out happy tears.... Friends, especially best friends are those people who get happy for your happiness, sad for your sadness....

SR:Seri Ashwin Anna kitta sollu.....
SK: eiii! Illa.... Naan ippo solala.... This would be special for him....
Surprise! I want to make it memorable....
SR: super d.... Seri nee rest edu.... You need a lot of care and rest.... Ennaku ippo recording irukku....
I will meet you by tmw morning.....
SK: hmmm okay....

SK'S POV:
I'm pregnant.... Our baby is here.... I hope this happened in front of you Ashwineyyyyy.... I really need you now....
I'm not sure whether I'm responsible enough to raise a child but when you are with me, I feel that I can do anything in this world....
Things I think I can't do are now as simple as multiplication with 1....

I get a call which shocks the hell out of me... a FaceTime.... From Ashwineyyyyy....
I quickly wipe all the tear mess on my face, set my messy hair and lay back on the couch trying to act normal....

SK: hi Ashwineyyyyy!
AK: (looking at the boiling stew) hi ma....yen oru madhiri irukku voice?
SK:(nods) cold ah iruku.... Adhan oru madhiri feverish ah iruku....
AK:(looks at the screen) fever ah? Sivaangi ma.... Odamba paathuka maatiyaaaa? Kozhandayaaaa neeee?

Hearing these words I couldn't control my tears which fled out of my eyes as I cover my face crying!

AK: Sivaangi!!!!! Yen ma azharaaaaa? Enna aachuuuuu? Please edhachu pesu.....
SK:(covering her face with the sleeves of her woven cardigan) Onnum illa....
AK:(worried to the core) Sivaangi ma... Enna da aachu? Yen ipdi azhara? Udambu Romba serilaya? Doctors lam illaya? You could get tablets la.....
SK: I miss you Ashwineyyyyy.....
AK:(stops at her words as he could feel his eyes getting wet too) I miss you too ma.... Innum oru naal than.... Apram en Dora en kitta vara pora....
Idhukudhan azhudiyaaaa?Seri okay.... Un moonji eh weak and pale ah irukku... poi rest edu ma... Romba stress eduthukadha....
Poi thoongu po....
SK: Ashwineyyyyy....
AK: sollu ma....
SK: Innum konja neram peslama?
AK: MA....
SK: please!
AK:(smiles).
They continue their midnight talks....

After the call I put if all the thoughts out of my head.... I walk to the mirror to stand in front of it.... The thought that my belly is going to be the home to a baby.... It's going to give shelter and literally nourish a young one bought tears in my eyes.... I wiped them off and covered my soon to be bumpy belly to go back to sleep.....

SR: Sivaangi(knocks on the door) ready ah? Time aagiduchu.....
SK: dhooooo varen iruuuuuu!
She runs to the door and opens it.....

SR: ei loosu ! Yen ipdi odra? You shouldn't walk or run to fast....
SK: Ada poooo d nee Vera.... Ennake Ashwin kitta idha epdi solla porenu nenachaleeee oreyyyy shy and nervous ah irukku.....
SR: eiiii.... Naane kekanumnu irundhen.... Epdi d solla pora?
SK: Romba grand ah lam illa.... It's going to be a simple but extremely emotional one....
Naan adha sollitu unnaku Avaru epdi react pannaru nu solren.....
SR: seri edho onnu.... Seekrama VA......

We board the flight.....
The thought that in a few hours.... I would meet Ashwin gave me goosebumps.....From when did I cry this much?
The day I saw him after 5 years!
The first day I saw him.....
The words he used in his proposal....
How we enjoyed our time together as a couple....
It was just.... MAGIC.....

I walked slowly..... and hugged him.... That hug meant a lot to me.... The embrace which I missed the most..... the warmth, the arms.....
AK:(hugging her head close to his chest) Sivaangi ma.... It's okay.... Adhan vandhutelaaaaa!
SK:(crying) naan ungala evlo miss panen nu theriyumaaaaa? Po Ashwineyyyyy.....
AK:(chuckles with unknown tears) Naanu.... Rombaaaaa!
SK: Ashwineyyyyy ! VA seekrama Veetuku polam.....
Ennaku Romba tired ah iruku.....
AK: hmmm.....

We walk into the house.....
The atmosphere which had my favourite scent spread out.... Everything felt so new and nice! It felt like I was back in MY HOME.....
I walked in and threw my bag on the bed before going to the washroom to freshen up....
AK:(unzips her bag and talks looking at her) nee thoongu ma.... Naan un bag unpack pannikren.....
SK:(biting her lower lip) hmmmmm.....
AK: (Turns to her with tears flowing down his face) Sivaangi....
