Within a week in Sunghoon's condo unit, Mi-sun did her best to stay clear of his mother, she always get out of the house to search for job while the ice skater is stil joggling all his schedules between home and the training center. They usually met eye to eye at nights, where they avoid to talk about the way they met for some reason.

But tonight after Sunghoon comes home too tired to even talk to her, Mi-sun laid at the bed, not knowing he was thinking about her at the same time. In just a short time, they've both witnessed one another at their lowest, driven towards the things they can't ignore.

For Sunghoon, he can feel and see how much Mi-sun is hurting inside. She had practically been stripped of her rights to her home and her parents's property by her Aunt Moyoung. It can be added the way the one she loved the most was taken away, only to be proven in a most heartbreaking process in the name of death.

He could understand how it felt, given that his real father died before her mother remarries Jay's father and he knew how much that must have hurt.

At the same time, Mi-sun, too, could not stop thinking about how much Sunghoon had been too strong in pretending in front of his fans and to the world that he is perfectly fine. Behind those shy smiles, it hids the struggling son who was scared to even defend himself against a mother who was losing her mind to her sickness.

But he never once complained, and still stayed by her side with all the gentleness in him, he was even the one working to buy all her needs.

And to Mi-sun, that was the bravest thing anyone could do. It was what a good person would've done. Sunghoon, to her, was the kindest person she had ever met.

It was so late in the night when a scream breaks the quietness, and Sunghoon's mom was screaming for him again in a shrilly voice. Mi-sun quickly gets out of the bed, as if on instinct as she opens her door and walks over to the forbidden room.

She stops by the usually locked door, to where it leads in a person who doesn't even know her, "I demand you to return in your room now", Mi-sun turns around to see Sunghoon behind her, looking questionably at her, "You can't handle her, trust me"

"I'd like to help you", she tells him, and Sunghoon shakes his head, walking towards her.

"She will not be too kind with a stranger", he reminded, as he settled a hand on her arm.

"I've handled worse than her, trust me", Mi-sun looks at him with pleading eyes, nodding her head to the keys in his hand, "Please, just this one time"
