A coin spun in the air. A hand reached out to catch it.

People could have died. Screaming. Agony coursing through them like lightning in their veins.

They didn't.

Not this time.

This time, as the hand that had flipped and caught faded and the coin dropped to the floor, no-one died.

This time, someone lived.
