The bar was wooyoung's new happy place, he'd go there almost every night now, not a care in his mind. His brain was filled with sour ugly thoughts, now that he'd lost his support system; his one person, he had no one. No one to care for him, not a friend, not a family member. The only interaction he had with the outside world was his shift at the downtown library and his adventures to the bar that was conveniently a block away from his apartment.

He smiled slightly at the teenager who had just checked out the whole harry potter series. "good luck" he mumbled under his breath, giving the girl a wave before typing away on his computer again. No one would ever be able to tell he was in pain, his smile was so convincing, his pretty personality always seemed to light up a room. Little did they know, his smile never reached his eyes. He forced himself to portray a happy easy-going personality.

A liar he was, a good one.

"your shift is almost over, want to hang out?" yunho, a coworker suggested with a bright smile. Wooyoung declined politely, "i'm alright, thank you" he replied. Yunho nodded in understanding, "you're about done anyway, clock out" the older put out, getting a hum from wooyoung.

"i'll see you tomorrow" wooyoung called, leaving the dark library. What a sad life this was.

Wooyoung walked to his home, only to drop off a few things before leaving to his second home, the bar. He wasn't even sure how he got home everyday, he decided to just call it a miracle and leave it alone.

He walked with his hands deep in his pockets, his long shirt riding up a little. The walk was never long, which did wooyoung well; no way to be alone for too long, think about his suffocating thoughts.
A therapist is what he needed, which he knew, but he'd never go see one.

He could already see the bars vibrant neon sign, shining in all its glory. It was inviting, urging you to come inside, "ruin your life a little more!! this will make you forget" it taunted. Wooyoung scoffed at his own thoughts, despite them being so true, he entered the place anyway. He made his way straight to his favorite place, his booth.

He gave the bartender a small nod of acknowledgment, the large man already knew wooyoung's order by now. Wooyoung liked to watch him make his drinks, he found it cool; more entertaining than his life. He also liked the large mans long beard, though he swore you weren't allowed to have those while being a bartender, but brushed it off.

The man slid wooyoung's drink to him, the younger thanked him, taking a long sip of straight whisky. He sighed in content, this was his happy place indeed. Getting drunk, forgetting. Hell he had even resorted to weed, just to feel that calm, that security and happiness that he just couldn't seem to give himself on his own.
