Right behind her walked the man with black, shaggy hair who was in there just a second ago.
"This is Eri. Her quirk is called rewind and it might be able to help you restore your memory."
Katana didn't even answer them, she just bent down to Eris level and looked her in the eyes.
"You're the little girl I ran into last year..."
All of the dots connected. Her visions began after she saved this girl last year. If her quirk was rewind, she must've activated it on the white haired assassin by accident, triggering her memories.
"Your horn... is that part of your quirk?"
"I-it is..."
"Do you know her?"
"I uhm, just... bumped into her one time and her horn grew."
"Eri doesn't have very good control of her quirk when she's emotional. But we thought we'd give it a go to help your case..." the freckled pro spoke.
The blue eyed girl sighed, sat on her bed and dried her remaining tears.
"Do whatever you want. I'm dead, aren't I? You could kill me right here right now if you wanted to."
Eri put a hand on Katanas arm, yellow light illuminating the room as her horn grew larger. A few seconds later, she let go and backed away. The three looked at Katana in suspense as they waited to see if it worked.
She stood up from the bed and couldn't feel anything new.
"Well. Guess I'm not your girl after all, can I go no-" Katana suddenly couldn't breathe.
She swayed forward but the heroes caught her. She was fighting for her breath as Eraserhead erased Eris quirk now that she was getting stressed because of this.
Just as Deku was about to call for help, Katana grabbed his arm and shook her head.
Cause now, she remembered. Her whole life flashed before her eyes.
She gasped for air and fell onto her knees. The chief of police re entered the room and watched her pant on the floor. Deku went ahead to grab her arm to help her up, but she dragged him to the floor and pulled him into a deep embrace.
"Izuku... I-Is this really happening..."
Tears started to form in every persons eyes in that room. Deku hugged her tighter and sank into the crook of her neck.
"It's me, Micky. You're home..."
Katanas POV
Eri did a good job on restoring my memory, cause my whole life flashed by my eyes as soon as she activated her quirk. I remembered everything, from my favourite childhood toy to my first day of high school. I remembered my life from before Anna found me. I remembered my friends and family and how much they all meant to me.
A bit foggy but, I remembered who I am.
And now, I was in the arms of one of my best friends. I'll forever treasure this moment, cause it's like I'm seeing him for the very first time again.
