Dream POV
-Drista? What are you doing? I ask.
-Uhm, nothing. She answers, sounding very... suspicious?
I turn around and see Drista... baking something?
-What are you doing? I ask, once again.
-Uhm, I thought some dessert could be nice. So i decided to bake a cake.
-Okay? What type of cake are you making then?
-Some chocolate cake. Found the recipe online.
-Nice, when's it done?
-Uhhh, like 20 minutes, I think.
-Okay, you're responsible for all that. I'm making dinner.
-Not now right?
-No, maybe at like 8? 9?
-Yeah.
I walk up to my room and lay down in my bed.
Who even were those guys? And why did they care so much that I talked with Ava? Like, mind your business.I scroll on my phone for a while, but you know how it is. Time flies by and suddenly its 7.50pm. I should start cooking dinner, shouldn't I?
When I walk down the stairs, I can smell chocolate cake.
-You didn't burn it right? I ask Drista from the kitchen, she was in her room.
-No I didn't, it's currently in the fridge. Are you going to cook dinner?
-Yeah. Do you feel like eating pasta?
-Sure.
-Alright.
I begin to cook the dinner. (A/N: lol idk how to cook sorry that's all you're getting about him cooking dinner)
Since it's oddly quiet, the only thing making a sound being the pasta cooking, I decide to put in my headphones and play some music.I press the shuffle button on my playlist and I soon hear the song "This december" by Ricky Montgomery playing.
Soon enough, after listening to some more songs and cooking the food. Dinner's ready.
-Drista, food! I say loudly, hoping she would hear me.
-Okay! She shouts back, and after like 10 seconds she walks out of her room and to the dinner table.
We sit in silence for a while, eating our food.
-So, did anything happen on your walk? Drista says, breaking the silence.
-Well, there were like three assholes who talked to me. But other than that, no.
-What'd they say?
-I don't even know what they were talking about to be honest. Something about that homosexuality is wrong.
-Really? Drista says, looking surprised.
-Yeah. Oh and they wanted to fight me.
-Wait, three versus one? Were they so scared of you?
-Well, one of them did offer me to fight him only, but I didn't really feel like fighting someone who has two friends with him.
-Yeah. But you said they were homophobic? Why did they talk to you then?
-I sit besides a girl in class who's gay apparently. Not that I give a shit, but they do I guess.
-Pathetic.
-Yeah.
Drista has always had an opinion about what's right and wrong. She's always been, I don't know, supportive towards basically anyone who's lgbtq. She's never said anything racist. I guess our parents raised us well. Neither of them are racist or homophobic or anything like that.
We both eat our food, and put the dishes in the dishwasher.
-By the way, has mom or dad called you? I ask Drista when she puts her dishes in the dishwasher.
-No, why?
-Just wondering when they'll come back.
-Okay, but are we eating cake now or in a bit?
-I don't mind eating it now, but it depends on what you want to do obviously.
-We can eat it now. But not the whole cake right? I mean it would be nice to be able to eat it some other day you know?
-Yeah, I don't think we can eat the whole thing anyways so...
When we've eaten one piece each of the cake, we both walk to our rooms.
-Drista? I shout when walking up the stairs.
-Yeah?
-You're good at baking.
-Thank you!
I walk up to my room and continue to look at my phone. I don't even know what the time was when I fell a asleep, but when I wake up again, it was because of my alarm. It's 6.30am and I'm hella tired. I sit on my bed and watch my phone for like 5 minutes, then I stand up and get dressed.
I walk down to the kitchen and see if there's anything I can eat for breakfast. It's now 7am. I hear Dristas alarm from her room, apparently she likes to sleep for a longer time than me on the morning.
After a while we take our jackets and walk outside...
