Chapter 2

I sit up in my bed. Damn what time is it. I say in my head. I grab my phone to check the time it's only 11:00 am. I stay sitting up in my bed and stare. I scratch my hair and wipe drool off my mouth. Damn I must have slept good, now who was in my dream again? I say in my head. I finally decide to get up and walk downstairs, as I get closer to the ground floor I smell something, pancakes.

"Hey Adam. I was starting to think you wern't gonna wake up." Says my stepmom.

"Yea I was up last night watching Netflix." I say as I sit down at the island.

"Yea because today's your big day with ur crush." She says while giving me a eye.

Not soon after my mom comes downstairs.

"I'm happy it's the weekend, and yall don't have to work." I say.

"Good morning." Says my stepmom to my mom.

She gives her a kiss and she sits with me. We both get handed some pancakes, she sits with us and we begin to eat. We talk and eat. I check the time and its already noon. I finish the rest of my food and put my dishes in the sink.

"I'm gonna go get some clothes on." I say.

I go upstairs to my room and start to get dressed. I choose out a old band shirt and some jean's. I tuck in the shirt a bit but leave some out. I decide to put in my contacts. I finish it off with some converse, a black hairpin and some cologne. I walk back downstairs.

"Oooh! Comfy but fashionable." Says my step mom.

"And you smell nice too." Says my mom.

"Can I drive the car there?" I ask.

"Yea sure, were not planning on going anywhere." Says my mom.

I grab my phone and the keys. I check the time and its already. 12:30 pm. I decide to start leaving.

"Byee! I love you guys." I say to them as I head out the door.

I hear a I love you back. I get in the car and begin my drive. I turn up the music and jam out as I drive. I check the time and its already 1:01 pm right as I pull up. I park the car and get out. I walk inside with my notes and I see Liam waving. I walk up to Liam with a slight blush on my face.

"Hey you look nice." He comments.

"Thanks you don't look bad either." I say back.

I sit down.

"So what did you need help with? Is there a part you dont get?" I say look at him.

I see a slight blush go across his face. "Basically everything." He says laughing. I laugh along with him.

We discuss the math and laugh a bit too.

"So you would put the one here and-" I get cut off by a annoying voice.

"Oh my god, is that Liam! who's your nerd friend here?" Says a annoying voice from behind me. I turn around and its Sophie. "Hey! This is Adam
and hes helping me go over some stuff
" Liam says.

She gasps. "I go to like all of your football games, you play so good! You know I'm part of the math team, I could have helped you!" "Oh well I never knew, but thanks." He says. Oh my god can she like shut up. I think in my head.

"I'll get us something to snack on and a drink, while your going through your notes." He says as hes pulled away by her. I smile in agreement. I can still hear her talk to him and him laugh. I hear him start to wrap up the conversation.

"Hey Liam, so I'm coming to the football game, but like none of my friends have a cute jersy to wear, so I was wondering if I can borrow one of yours." She says

"Yea sure, I'll make sure to give it to you." He responded. "Byee Liam and bye nerd dude." She says as she leaves.

I finish up our study with him and we get up to leave. "Do you want me to drive you home or do you have a ride already." I offer.

"No I dont actually, I'll tell my mom your dropping me off. I'll text you the address. " He says. "Alright fine with me." I respond.

We walk outside and get into my car. I put in his address to my car, turn up the music and begin the drive. We stop at a red light. I text my mom that I'll be a bit late because I have a friend and I'll spend the night at Oliver's house. Next I text Oliver that I'm spending the night there, he says its alright. The light finally turns green so I go.

"Hey Adam." Liam says as he scrolls on Instagram."Yea?" I say. "Is it true that your gay, I mean everyone swears you are. I mean not to be mean if you arent." He says. "Well yea its true, like most people at school know." I say as I pull up at his house. "Is this the place?" I ask. "Yup it is, I'll text you if I need anything." He says as he walks away. "Alright!" I responded. I leave and begin my drive to Oliver's house, I make a quick stop at McDonald's then keep driving. I finally get to his house. I get out the car and walk inside with my key. I walk to his room.

I knock on the door. "Oliverr! I got some food so we can watch a movie." I say. I get a immediate reaction to him opening the door, and him letting me in. "Soo how was your date?" He asks while we eat.

"It wasnt really a date." I say while kicking my feet, with my hands on my cheeks. "Well I mean you got some alone time with the dude." He responds.

"Well yea until Sophie came in. Basically she was flirting with him, and to be honest I don't think the guy knew she was. She even asked for his jersey. For his game tomorrow. " I comment. He shake his head. "Maybe you should ask him for his hoodie so you can wear it to his game!" He says. "No that would be akward. Plus I'm pretty sure hes straight. " I respond. "Come on dude you're always saying no and you never think positive, just try this out this one time. For me? Plus you never know if he is straight or not if you dont ask." He says giving me a look. "Ok fine then, I'll ask him about the hoodie."

I text him if I could get his hoodie, he says yes I'll have to pick it up at his house and he offered to bring me to the game Friday too, we agreed to meet at noon, a hour before his game.

"Its a yes, and I have to get it at noon and hes bringing me too." I tell my friend. "Ok sounds good with me. Me and you, we'll meet up at the game." He tells me as he lays down.
"Please remind me, okay?" I ask him as I take out my contacts. "Yea I will, goodnight." He tells me. "Goodnight." I respond as I go to sleep.
