CHAPTER 2

ANNE'S POV

"Anne you can't imagine what is going on....." my focus was not on what she is saying but on how people are rushing here and there. Some where looking at me with angry eyes and some with hatred.... wait what did I do, I stop Sandra from the IT department and OMG the glare could bury me alive "Sandra what is going on" "you are here with the gossip girl and you are asking me what is happening??" "Can you just tell me please" "well you told us in the company's group chat yesterday that the new CEO will be coming next week..." "yes I said that because that is what his PA said to me when I asked him" "he is here and 10 people have already been fired for making error in their reports and they all blame you because they think you lied" she walks away in a hurry. "Meggie text me, okay?"

I run to the elevator and pray steadily so I won't face this harsh man's wrath, immediately it opens I run to my cubicle and get all the files and minutes his PA said was needed. Breathe in, breathe out...whew here we go, I'm so scared. "Come in" I hear a deep hoarse voice say after I knocked. I enter steadily, his back was facing me and the stiff back and broad shoulders told me he is no one to mess with. "Hello sir, my name is Anne Samuels, your new PA and..." He swings the chair around all the words I was about to say gets stuck in my larynx. Freaking TYRELL JETT STONE!!!!!!! "And??". I regained my composure "this is the minutes and the file you asked for sir" his gaze pierces through me and I shudder under his gaze. I feel so small and my hand is trembling, I quickly drop the files on his desk and turned to leave "Samuels or Lemme say shortyy" I turn to see him smirking. So, he hasn't changed from his annoying behavior; I'm going to be miserable at the end of every beautiful day, I smile at him "nothing, get back to your desk I'll call you when I'm ready" I nod my head and turn to leave "Miss Samuels?" I clench my teeth tightly ughhhhh. I nod my head  "use your words" "yes sir" I leave quickly before he calls me again. So annoying

During lunch break, Meggie, Lucas and I meet at the break room. I can feel the tension in the air and knowing Meggie she wanted to ask me what happened. "Anne, you keep on stirring your coffee and why are you not eating" I look at him and sigh I don't even know why he is back and its like he wants to target me. "WHAT!!!" I looked at them and realized that I said that out loud "it's nothing guys." "Anne you know you can talk to us anytime right?" I nod my head and focused on my coffee. My phone pings with a message from him saying I should get to the office in a minute. I run as fast my little feet could carry me. I barge into his office breathing like I just competed with Usain bolt for an Oscar.

"I'm here sir" his eyes penetrate into mine and there I realized his blue eyes are the nicest ones I've ever seen. "I need you to get me lunch, you know what I like to eat right, you remember right?? I nod and turn to leave "WORDS!! Shorty. Words" his voice sounded so cold and I got goosebumps. His voice sounded like when I defied his orders when we were in high school and he knows that voice scares me so yes, he had to use it on me after 6 years. "Yes sir, I remember". I'm not going to allow you to walk all over me Jett stone. I'm stronger now and you can't break me anymore you've done enough damages to last a lifetime.

JETT'S POV

Seeing shorty again gave me this giddy feeling. I miss her so much but I know she hates me for the hell I put her through but I just wanted her attention. I can't make it so obvious that I want her, what if she rejects me. "Why won't she" my subconscious mind tells me. Everyone thinks I'm cold but I want to be warm for her and buy her sweets and flowers. She is my weak point and she doesn't even know. She has grown into a beautiful woman and damnn those curves and her ponytail turns me on. Now I just have to make this company popular and then chase her. She was mine and still mine and will forever be mine. Maybe if I'm cold she did pay attention to me.
