?

It's so dark here. It feels hollow and lifeless.

"Hello?" I call out and my voice bounces right back to me.

I walk through the darkness and look down bringing up my palms.
But it's so dark that I don't see them.

Where am I?

"Hello?" I call out louder.

"Allaura?" A soft voice says behind me.

I spin around, but there isn't anyone there.

"Is someone there?" I ask and step forward. Or backwards, I don't know.

"Allaura?" A voice cracks and I freeze.

"Mom?"

How is she here. She can't be here. I'm dead.

"Baby, where are you?" She calls out.

"Mom, mom i'm right here." But we can't find each other. It's too dark. It's like she isn't truly here.

Good.

"You shouldn't be here. You need to go back." She says from behind me and I spin around.

"I can't mom. I—I can't." I whisper.

"Yes you can. It's not your time. You need to leave Allaura. Now." Her voice becomes stern and changes.

"Mom—I can't."

"You can."

"I don't know how!" I scream.

"Yes you do."

"I don't!"

"You do."

"I DONT!" I bellow and fall to my knees.

"Why are you giving up?" She asks. "You made a promise to me. Are you going to break it?"

"No—I don't want to, I want to find him. I want to live. But I can't."

The promise to find my father. The love of her life.

"You can, sweetheart."

"But how?"

"You know how."

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!"

What the hell does she mean I know how.
I don't know where I am. I can't see or feel anything. I'm gone.

"Welcome it, Allaura." She softly says.

"Welcome what?"

"Welcome it." Her voice grows distant.

"Wait, no, mom. Don't leave!" I yell.

But shes already gone.

I feel everything still. I feel the betrayal, the hurt, the pain. I was terrified falling off that mountain. But I couldn't let Caspian die. So I took all that energy from within myself and blasted it to protect us—protect him.

He watched as they beat me. He said he didn't care if I died, he never cared for me or loved me.

Was it all an act? Was it all fake?

But if it was fake, why would he jump after me?

It could be another one of Diona's games.
