Cherise Matsuno hates perfect things. She doesn't like how satisfying and good-looking they are when she looks at them. She doesn't like when things are going exactly where she wanted them. In short, she's far from being a perfectionist because she believes that there's no such thing that could embody the word "perfect", at least that's what she believes in ever since her mom and dad separated. At first, she was just irritated by the thought but as time passes by, her condition got worse. She even gets panic attacks every time she sees something that is visually perfect.
"Chifuyu, come on! We're running late for school!" She took a glance at her mirror and looked at herself. She's wearing her school uniform, her blue ombre hair tied up in a messy high ponytail, her socks not completely aligned, and her mismatched earrings dangling from her ears. A cat suddenly pushed the door and wraps its body over her legs. "Hello, Peke J. Where's Chi? Is he outside his room already?"
"Peke J, stop entering Cherise's room every damn time" Chifuyu barged inside her room. Cherise's mouth dropped as he saw his brother's outfit.
"What in the actual shit, Chi" Cherise pulled his brother closer and faced him in the mirror. Chifuyu's hair is brushed up with tons of gel, revealing his undercut, his white polo shirt's untucked, tie's messy and he's wearing a pair of converse. "You look like an emo kid with anger management issues"
"Hands off me, sis!" He looked at himself carefully in the mirror, trying to find flaws in his outfit for today. "Clearly, you don't have a sense when it comes to fashion, Che" Chifuyu headed out from her room, Peke J following his owner's trail behind him.
Cherise's jaw dropped at her brother's remarks before leaving the room. She closed her eyes and thought what would her mom do if she's here. Her concentration was caught off with a notification from her phone. She picked it up from her pocket and opened it.
"Dude, where are you? Classes are about to start!" Hina, who's her only friend in school left her a message.
"On my way" she texted her back and ran downstairs. She saw Chifuyu unlocking his bike in front of their apartment and waved his hands goodbye to her sister, who's struggling to lock the door. "Guard the house, Peke J!" she shouted at the cat, who clearly doesn't give a fuck about what she said.
She's walking down the stairs when she noticed something on her way down. Cherise took a quick glance at the opened door, two doors away from their room, and saw a girl with long silky black hair who's not struggling to move the huge boxes across the room.
Does she have superhuman strength or something? She looks small but her strength is quite terrific. She thought at the back of her mind. I was about to ask her if she needs help but by the looks of it, I think she can manage it all by herself. She added.
Cherise shook her head, realizing that she's REALLY running late for school and she only has 10 minutes left before homeroom starts. She quickly ran downstairs and ran towards her school.
