27: In Loving Arms

You heard a soft mew from behind you and turned to see who it was. Puff was behind you. She had leapt out of Mic's arms and run off when she saw you leave the room. You stopped and Nezu turned to you to see you picking up your sweet little cat. He smiled and nodded understandingly when little cat. He smiled and nodded understandingly when you looked at him. You continued following him until the end of the hall to a door. He opened it and let you inside you heard a faint click and turned to see not Nezu, but Himiko Toga. You started backing away and hit something... Someone. You turned to See Shigaraki, smirking down at you with his crusty lips and Dabi, who was holding a crowbar, right next to him. You panicked and fell to the ground, clinging to Puff. She didn't mind, and curled into you, unaware of the situation. Dabi walked over to you and hit you over the head with the crowbar. You passed out immediately.

Meanwhile, Mic and Saki were frantically searching for Puff, while Midnight and Mila were deep in discussion. They assumed you were still talking to Nezu until Nezu approached them, looking for you. That set them into a frantic worry, and they began looking for you.

Dabi carried you, and Puff, out to a black car in the alley and threw you in the back. Puff hissed out of disapproval from being moved and then laid her head back on your chest. The three villains piled in before driving off.

You woke up with a throbbing head but felt your head laying on something soft...ish. You opened your eyes to see the familiar dark eyes of a man you had believed to be dead. He smiled and stroked your cheek. "Never thought you would see me again, did you?" You began to cry softly, shocked to see Aizawa alive. He helped you sit up and kissed you, wiping away your tears as you kissed back. Puff leapt into your lap, mewing and trying to get your attention. You looked down at her and giggled. Aizawa stroked gently behind her ears lovingly. You looked around and realized you were in a cold stone room with a metal door. All of a sudden it burst open and Mr Compress walked in with Spinner waiting at the door. He walked over to you and you curled into Aizawa in fear, cuddling Puff. He walked over to the three of you and compressed you into one of his small blue marbles. "Please be gentle with her..." Aizawa whispered, trailing off. Mr Compress nodded, seeing the worry, sadness and fear in Aizawa's eyes and feeling bad.

Compress walked away with you and Spinner slammed the door behind him. Aizawa was extremely concerned for you, he knew you couldn't handle much still. Mr Compress released you from the small blue marble. You began panicking almost immediately, both your PTSD and flight or fight response kicking in. Mr Compress looked at you and felt bad, understanding why Aizawa had said what he did. You ran over to the corner and curled into a ball. Shigaraki was confused by your actions. You began to let tears fall and Dabi began to feel slightly bad for you. He knew what is was like to be in constant fear, he had grown up that way. Dabi approached you and you began to panic. Dabi kneeled down and rubbed you back gently. Kurogiri watched on closely, almost understandingly.

You looked up at him, realising that he wasn't hurting you. Dabi looked down into your eyes and you could see right through his rock-hard shell. You still wanted to get away from the villains and get back to Aizawa and Puff. Dabi wrapped his arms around you and lifted you off the ground. You thrashed in his arms and he tightened his grip. "Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. Shigaraki, I really don't give a fuck about what you have to say. I'm taking her back to Eraserhead." Dabi hissed, leaving the room. He opened the door and Aizawa ran over. "What did you do to her?" Aizawa snapped, brushing the hair off her tear stained face.

Aizawa and Dabi sat next to each other in the room, Aizawa held you in his arms while Dabi stroked Puff as if she were his own. "Why help her? You don't even know her..." Aizawa asked, still confused. "I saw the pain in her eyes. She's been abused in the past. She's had it rough." Dabi murmured, looking down. Aizawa suddenly realized something. "You've been through it too, haven't you..." he murmured. Dabi nodded. "I'm willing to tell you my identity, but not a single other person can ever know." Dabi muttered, being completely honest. Aizawa nodded. "I am Touya Todoroki. Son of Endeavor and the eldest sibling of the family." Aizawa's eyes widened.

"Endeavor abused me and Shoto Todoroki throughout our childhood. He set me out on the streets after he deemed my quirk 'Useless'. I lived my life on the streets and eventually became a villain." (You all cam guess the rest) Aizawa felt terrible about everything he had heard. Dabi stood up. "I have to go talk to Shigaraki. I trust you Eraserhead, I'll leave the door unlocked. If you need anything, come find either me or Compress." Dabi explained, leaving the room.

A few minutes later, your eyes fluttered open. You were greeted by light forehead kisses by Aizawa. You looked up at him and he looked into your eyes. "Thirsty?" He asked softly. You nodded and he picked you up. Puff woke up from her slumber in the pile of old blankets on the other side of the room and followed you out of the room and into the hall.

"Where are we going Aizawa?" You asked softly. He smiled softly. "To the kitchen, to quench your thirst." He answered. You got there and saw Compress and Spinner and tried to curl into Aizawa. He laughed slightly. "Glad to see your awake, are you feeling better?" Mr Compress asked and Aizawa put you down. You turned and hid in his chest. You felt his chest vibrate with laughter. "Sorry, she's just woken up." Puff strut over to Spinner and leapt onto his lap. He began to panic from the shock. Aizawa laughed again and so did Mr Compress. You turned from your hiding spot to see about the commotion and began to giggle as well.

Dabi, Shigaraki, Toga, Twice and Kurogiri walked in about a second later and you instantly hid back in Aizawa's chest. The cat jumped out of spinner's lap and strolled over to Shigaraki, brushing against him. "Awwww!" Toga exclaimed loudly and you turned to see Shigaraki reaching down towards Puff. You ran forwards and scooped Puff up before retreating to the room as quickly as possible.

Aizawa sighed and watched her go. "What's her problem?" Shigaraki asked with confusion. "That cat is practically her child; she is generally quite protective of her." Aizawa explained. Shigaraki nodded. "We want to know why Y/N was so scared when Mr Compress released her." Kurogiri stated, signally for Aizawa to sit down and for Toga, Twice and Spinner to leave the room. Aizawa sighed and sat down, looking at Dabi.

"She has not had a great life. As a short summary; she was bullied the whole way through primary school, abused by her ex, attacked by her bullies, fell into her depression and anxiety, ran away, harassed at a grocery store, had to believe I was dead and so much more." Aizawa explained, holding back tears as he remembered all the terrible things you had to go through. Everyone sat in silence. Dabi wasn't as shocked as the rest but was still surprised.

"Z-Zawa... Puff's hungry..." You murmured, standing at the doorframe holding a loudly meowing cat. Dabi stood up and you stepped back out of reflex. "Hey, it's okay, I'm not going to hurt you. Come over here and we'll get your cat some food." He said, moving towards the bench. You slowly shifted towards him, still on edge. Aizawa and the rest of the males watched you and Dabi carefully. He got a fish out of the fridge, cut it up into small pieces, and put it in a frying pan with oil. You made light conversation with him, feeling a little more comfortable around him than the others. He pet the cat gently and it made you smile.

"She seems so much more comfortable around Dabi than the rest of us." Mr Compress muttered. They all agreed. Dabi finished cooking the fish and put in the small bowl he had grabbed out. He passed it to you, and you walked back into the little room that you had been staying in. "You don't have to sleep on the floor. I'm willing to let you two stay in a spare room until we decide what to do with you." Shigaraki offered.
