Technically, these are supposed to be uncatchable, but I edited my bag to have Pokeballs before picking my starter in case this happened! She's sitting happily in my Pokemon Emerald as a golden Mightyena now!
It should be transferable to newer gens too because Poochyena can legitimately be captured on the starting route anyways lol.
