Three days had passed since your tiny argument with Jean and neither of you had texted the other. You weren't going to text first because

1. You were convinced he was mad at you and probably hated your guts now that you'd showed him how overbearing you were and

2. You couldn't find it in you to text him while knowing that he was keeping something from you

So you moped around and continued living your pitiful life while pretending that Jean not talking to you didn't sting a bit. It did more than sting and everyone around you had picked up on your mood change. It was so bad even Carla had to come into your room and question it. 

"Is everything alright?" She asked cautiously while taking a seat on your bed. You paused your music and pulled out your AirPods that had been blasting Poison by Brent Faiyaz into your ears. "Uhh yeah?" You answered like it was obvious. 

"You sure?" She asked again.

"Yeah I'm fine" You reassure, preparing to put your AirPods in again. "You know you can tell me anything right?" She reminds crossing her arms over her chest. "Yes..." You sigh getting tired of the conversation. "Okay, then I'll leave you to your...music listening" She withdraws leaving your room and shutting the door.

You press play on the music and prepare to close your eyes and relax, but then your phone vibrates with a notification.
