EDWARD POV-
I knew I shouldn't but the way she danced around the ballroom was stunning and beautiful it was as if she was born to dance, never missing a single step as the music played on and the people danced around her.I snap back to reality after I hear my mother scolding in my ear for looking at the nobles, she is always nagging me to do my chores and stay out of noble peoples way as they walk around the castle. I try but sometimes they just look as if they want to be tripped over, you know?
Getting back to what I was meant to be doing, I grab the now empty plates holding them carefully so they don't fall and clatter to the floor causing me to get another beating from the castles cook. I begin to carefully carry six of them out of ballroom being extra careful not to run into anyone like last time the lord of the castle held a ball this big.
I am thankfully able to get around the crowds of people who seem to be gossiping all around the place although it wasn't easy most of nobles seem to want to move in front of me just as I'm about to pass them or they decide to stop me so they can give me empty drinking glasses they don't even say thank you afterwards.
Making my way into the corridor after that horrendous experience of dodging and weaving, I now must take extra caution to stay out of the way of any new arrivals that are heading to the ball room, I do notice however that the corridor seems to be full of young noble boys and women who all seem to making out in pairs, one particular gentlemen has two girls at once!
I keep moving forward hoping no praying to all the gods that none of them ask for a napkin to use. "You there serving boy with ragged hair" well sard, guess the gods don't like me. Remember Edward, smile and nod and try not to punch any of them if they insult you. I turn to face the voice that sounds as if its coming from a boy who has just started to enter puberty "would you be so kind to get me and these two precious flowers a napkin, we will be needing it for the night" he says with a sleazy smile on his face that makes me want to throw everything in my hands at him but thankfully I keep my cool. "As soon as I can relive myself of the burden I have of carrying these plates and drinking I'll be sure to get right on that" I say with sensible smile giving him a nod as I turn to leave "do hurry these precious flowers don't look as if they can wait any longer" more like your cock can't wait I quietly say to myself as I take my leave of this once beautiful corridor now tainted by sleaze and rich harlets.
