I love you

Paddy I can't do this, I fell like we are falling out of love." Said y/n crying

That was all  Paddy Holland heard before the words became backround noise.

Were those 2 years nothing? This was one of the many questions that was go through Paddy's mind on his drive back home.

"So I bought you something." "Sam I told you no presents!" Y/n said laughing. "But I wanted to, plus when I saw this I thought of you, here." Sam said smiling. When Y/n opened it she saw a beautiful dimond ring. "Oh my goodness Sam this is gorgeous!!" "I love it!!" "I love you!!" *

That was the first time she said those beautiful yet scary three words to Sam. In that minute knew, he loved her back.

* "Paddy listen it our song come on let's dance!" Y/n said with so much enthusiasm. "Y/n in the middle of the street?" "No on the roof, yes of course here, on the street." Y/n said with sass and sarcasm. "Ok, come on." Paddy said reluctantly. Then Paddy and Y/n swayed together in the beautiful streets of London. Moments like these are rare for Paddy and Y/n because, Y/n lives in America. So they have had to do the long distance thing for while. "I love you." Y/n said with so much love in her eyes. "I love you too." Said Paddy reciprocating the same amount of love. *

In that moment Paddy knew she was his endgame. Giving all her love for him. He new that the love they had in that moment was all they needed. He thought that they need that kinda love to last eternally. And through those two years it was proved to be true.

*Paddy do you still love me?" Asked the worried girl, on the other side of the phone. "Yes, Y/n of course I still love you with my whole heart." Said Paddy like it was the easiest question to answer because to him it was. "Why would you ask that it?" Asked Paddy with sadness in his eyes. "It is just we have not been talking much with you busy at work, and me with my studies I just get a bit worried." "Y/n listen to me you only have a bit more school to go until you will graduate from uni. And then you will have a bit less stress on your shoulders. And don't forget this summer I am coming down to celebrate my girl's acomplishment on graduating, ok. So don't worry you about it. It is just you and me against the world love." Paddy said in a calming voice to calm his girl down. "Ok."Y/n said with a smile forming on her face. "I love you Paddy."  "I love you too Y/n/n." *

Where did they go wrong was all Paddy could ask himself. How did they fall out of love they loved each so much.  
Could this just a beautiful fragment of his imagination? Was this a dream and he will wake up with Y/n will be in his arms? Is it a cruel joke? All of these options were better than Paddy's actual reality, and the real pain he was feeling. All he wanted to feel was love, love for Y/n. No, love from Y/n but that not gonna happen cause now all that is gone.

Who knows maybe all of it was a lie to her. Maybe all the broken promises she made about their future. All the don't worry our love is eternal. All of it lies.

But one thing is for certain to Paddy. Out of all the lies "I love you"  was his favorite.

Hey y'all hope y'all are doing well!! Sorry for such a big hiatus. I will try to start updating more often, although school is starting soon!! So it will be difficult.

This one-shot is my first angst on this book. It is also from my other book , but I made it into a chapter for Paddy!
