" Hi 😀 I was just wondering if you could write this prompt in your Dreamnotfound Oneshots book?
its basically when george visits dream in florida and its there first time seeing each other and dream wants to make it special so he buys george colorblind glasses and takes him to dinner and then they confess their love for each other during the sunset and george can see the pretty colors and then they kiss and happy ending. thank you if you do! ♡︎♡︎ "

of course, darling! i'm so sorry about the wait. i hope you enjoy!!

...+...+...+...

this would be the first time that dream would be able to see his secret crush— well, it wasn't really a secret, since almost everyone BUT george knew.

dream already knew that he was in love. he could feel his heart tighten inside of his chest each time he could speak to his best friend. george helped dream start off his channel. he was in almost every single video and dream rarely left him alone because of that. he would sometimes wonder if he ever annoyed george. sometimes he would catch a breath inside of his throat and it felt like something was dragging him down, but he already knew what it was: love. dream had already been in love, but only once. he was only a boy when he experienced it— and yeah, it was a girl!
he didn't even know that he could harbor feelings for a guy, let alone one of his best friends, who was EXTREMELY straight.

dream decided to let those thoughts leave his mind and he focused on the more positive side: he bought glasses! and NO, not just ANY glasses, COLORBLIND glasses!! george often spoke to him of his dream to witness colors that the rest of his friends could see. dream wanted to make that wish come true and decided to buy them for him, excitement already racing through his veins as he looked at them.

finding the right size for the glasses was difficult to get across. he figured that asking for nick or for wilbur's help to find the right size for george's glasses would be better, considering that wilbur and george met up quite often and nick also spent a lot of time with him. he didn't want to find glasses that weren't the right size— now THAT would just be embarrassing.

he tucked the box into his backpack and twiddling his thumbs before pulling out his phone, looking around his social media and his youtube comments. of course, he would see the occasional "dreamnotfound" stan, who would virtually scream out over the sea of the other comments, try to get their point across that they wanted him and george to be a couple.

oh, it made his heart break when he saw many of both his and george's fans force him to say i love you. he knew it was forced— yeah, it made him feel good, but realizing that it wasn't even real was what hurt him. what hurt the most was that george was being tugged over the edge by his "loyal" fans. there were a lot of great fans out there, but dream—and pretty much any other celebrity— could agree that other fans were toxic as hell.

he sighed, his eyes glazed with tiredness and sat down on a bench. he dozed off to the chattering of children, adults, and staff members assisting others all around the crowded airport. he was surprised to see it so full, especially because of covid-19.

. . .

he didn't know how long he had been asleep, but it was only until he received a phone call from george that he quickly woke up. his forest green eyes quickly adjusted to the light and stretched, taking a deep breath of hair.

"i'm here, dream," george's voice fluttered over the phone. dream grinned and replied with a flirty remark, "oh, so you're excited to meet me, aye?" george huffed from the other side of the line and grumbled "yeah, maybe; not really though."
