I picked Theresa up off the ground.
"Ok I'm going to get you out of here, somewhere safe." I said.
"Okay, Thomas."
I threw my back to the door and started to run down the hallways turning left and right around corners. I turned into a WICKED laboratory, that we first entered when we had first made it out of the maze. I set Theresa done on a chair and propped her legs up on another.
"I'll be right back." I said.
"Wait...no,you can't leave... you...you could die. I can't lose you Thomas, not now," she begged.
"Theresa, I can't.... I need to save Brenda still."
"Okay, go..."
"Don't go anywhere I'll be back." I hugged her, then sprites to find Brenda.
I ran down the hallways and was almost there, but I was too late. My ears rang. I fell to my knees and my eyes started to tear up. Anger started to rage inside me. Flashbacks of Brenda appeared inside my head. The first day we meet, the time we had together & her eyes.
